Meanwhile, far away from Patch , in a barren wasteland, with rocky terrain and enormous crystal-like things sprouting out from the ground. The sky was a dark red in color and Grimm could be seen spawning out from some pools containing a viscous tar-like substance. This place was known around Remnant as the Land of Darkness or as Evernight. It was , from the stories, the ancient domain of the God of Darkness but now, it was the homeland of the Grimm.

But in those desolated place stood a castle-like structure which shared the colors of the land around it : purple, violets , reddish sky and black shadows. Sadly the outside of this palace was not extensively shown, but , by the look of it, it seemes to be tall or it was just situated on a tall mound. In addition, the castle seemed to be built out of rocks and purple crystals.

But what was interesting us was what was happening in one of the rooms of the castle. The room in question looked like a Conference room and in the center of it, we could see a crystal table surrounded by six wooden chairs. At the end of the table was a crystal throne.
Opposite the throne was a pair of wooden double doors which were the only entrance to this room and a good number of crystals surrounded the room with white candles on their tops. Behind the throne was a crystal table adorned with several candles while above it was a chandelier made out of branches and crystals.

Currently they were some people seating on the chairs all of them were looking at the one sitting on the throne. It was a woman but she looked more like a Grimm than a normal Human Being with her deathly pal skin, her jet black sclerae in her eyes and glowing crimson irises (Look of the picture for more description). It was Salem, the Queen of Grimm and the most feared person in the room.
