Dear Regulus, I hope this reaches you before one of your dorm mates finds it. I wanted to let you know that not much went wrong in the order, if you had not heard James' parents had passed away. He has struggled a lot lately but he will make an appearance sooner or later. Peter had visited our meeting last night (nobody told him anything, so don't worry, you're stupid secret is still secure), but he didn't talk much, as he does, though he left after a while, didn't stay for too long when Dumbledore spoke about the spy. Regardless, I just wanted to let you know, I know it isn't much, but I didn't want to leave you wondering. If you find anything else, let me know as soon as possible. Sirius Black. P.S I need to talk face to face, meet me at the shrieking shack at four o'clock this afternoon.
Regulus intended to burn the letter and perhaps Sirius. What was the purpose of his visit? It will utterly ruin everything! The shrieking shack as well? Despite the fact that Hogwarts offers many places, Sirius the idiot Black chooses an abandoned place within the school.
He shouldn't be here, especially after James' parents passed away. For Sirius, the Potters were more like family than the Blacks were. Regulus has seen that, he has seen everything. Regulus certainly was jealous of it; he watched them out of jealousy and hated that fact. James Potter and Sirius Black were more like brothers than Sirius and little Regulus Black could ever have been. . .James & Sirius, are the two who never went away from one another.
Regulus wanted to persuade Sirius not to come to him and instead spend time with his family. However, a part of him wished Sirius would pay him a visit. Even though it was a huge risk, Sirius Black had never considered visiting Regulus before. It was as if a new chapter in Regulus' life had begun, and the younger self that Regulus had tried everything to hide...felt comfort.
He had no idea what to do. Should Sirius show up? Should he stop him? With an irritated sigh, he shoved the letter inside his drawer and glared at the two-way mirror Sirius had given him.
