REGULUS DIDN'T KNOW HOW LONG HE HAD BEEN ASLEEP FOR, but the soft voice of Barty woke him up.

   "Regulus , Regulus— wake up!"

He groaned as he woke up, Regulus shifted around in his bed, groaning as he stretched and rolled over to avoid being woken. However, Barty did not stop shaking and screaming at the boy.

By the time Regulus awoke, he was already rubbing his eyes and stretching as he surveyed his dorm area. Barty was the only person left in the dorm; their other two roommates had already left.

"' S' time already?" said Regulus groggily.

Barty nodded before climbing Regulus bed and closing all the curtains, "My love, we have to go. You have to wake up." A quiet groan escaped Regulus's lips.

    "Are you alright?"

   "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because. . .you seem exhausted, barely saw you yesterday after you left the great hall and I'm pretty certain you came back to the dorm late."

Gritting his teeth, Regulus didn't feel like talking about it in particular with Barty. Despite his desire to avoid a fight with him, Regulus didn't want Barty to leave him as all good people in his life have done before.

    "Wanna talk about it?"

     "No."

    "But I feel—"

"—I said I don't want to talk about it."

Barty took a deep breath and frowned. "Alright. . .will you please get dressed and arrive at breakfast?" Regulus never said anything further, he didn't even protest since he knew Barty wouldn't let it go. In silence, Regulus got out of bed and changed, unable to speak.

After leaving the common room, the two of them made their way to the great hall. When they finally arrived at the great hall, where the others sat, they looked around. Golden dishes and goblets were adorning the tables. Ghosts were streaming through the wall. Their movements were white-coloured and slightly transparent as they glided across the room, Peeves laughing as he pranked the students.
