WHAT IF
༉‧˚✧ 𖤐₊˚ CHAPTER TEN — the past, future, & present.REGULUS FOUND HIMSELF AGAIN, this time in an empty dorm room, long after breakfast. Regulus had a class in a few hours, but he couldn't stop himself from thinking deeply.
Horxruces, Professor Viatrix, Tom Riddle, the four relics, and, most importantly, Lyra Black... Regulus will never admit to himself or others that he requires assistance, but this time he needed to speak with someone about it.
He sat on his bed, holding a tiny mirror in his hand, peering through the reflections of Sirius and Andromeda Black.
"Lyra Black?" Sirius asked, arching his brow "Where did you hear that name?" He inquired, stunned.
"Sirius! Now is not the time for questions! Are you aware of Lyra Black? It's as simple as yes or no." Regulus quickly answered.
"No."
The younger black sighed annoyed, shutting his eyes as he pinched the bridge of his nose. That's when Andromeda started speaking up; "She may be an incredibly elderly family member, you know...probably around uncle Alphard's age," She said up to that point.
Although Sirius gave it a little shrug as he considered it, his words came before his thoughts: "Uh, She could be dead."
"Sirius!"
Regulus reasoned that Sirius wasn't mistaken. He found it odd that he, Sirius, and Andromeda don't know who Lyra Black is; after all, they didn't hear anything about her growing up. She might be dead, right? Mother never mentioned her before, nobody else did, and her name isn't on the tapestry. Who is she? Has she established a connection of any kind? What is it?
Regulus started to ask, "So, the only way we can learn more about her is if we unravel the past?" He posed a question that made Andromeda quite curious about the concept.
There's a book! She cried "A book including all of our former relatives—" Sirius blinked in confusion, "—A book? Which book?" He queried.
"Just some old family book back at the manor, in the library." She replied.
