"You know, these might be the best fries I've ever had. Ever." Lexi stuffed 2 fries in her mouth, her eyes still red but her face filled with glee.

"Yeah? I'm glad, ma. We hired a good cook then." Fez took a sip of the beer he was drinking.

It was 3:00am. They had been sitting in Fez's bar for hours. They talked, they cried, they held each other, and gave each other longing looks that had been missing for months.

"Oh my god. Ash! Did you text him that we'll be late?" Lexi began to panic. Fez nodded, taking another sip of his beer.

They went to sit on a booth in the bar, sitting next to each other, with Lexi's legs on his lap and his arm around her.

"You know, I think I have to apologize to Ash too. I haven't been to good with him." Lexi looked at her fries, remembering the pain she probably put him through also.

"Nah, I mean, take this as payback from when he first met you. Remember that? He was an asshole," Fez reasoned with Lexi. She laughed, shaking her head and leaning it on his shoulder.

"No no, I still have to go on my apology tour. I haven't finished with you yet," Lexi said sweetly.

"You know, you said that real sexual and a man's been on a dry spell for months so Ash might have to wait for his apology while I'm getting mine," Fez began to nibble on her ear, making her giggle like a 16 year old girl.

"I didn't mean it like that exactly, but...yeah. That'd be really nice. That was always something we were good at," Lexi blushed at her own statement. Fez grabbed her hand, kissing her knuckles.

"Damn straight," Fez laughed. Lexi laughed with him.

It had been too long since they laughed together. They were savoring this moment. They were taking it in and claiming this moment as a victory. They both didn't think they would get here.

"Can I ask you a question?" Lexi turned her body to him.

"Wussup" he replied.

"Did you ever think about...ending...this? And just starting new with someone—-" Lexi was interrupted by Fez kissing her. Their lips coming together was like a weight had come off their shoulders. It was like they were the only people in the world. Their lips moved in sync, their mouths opening agape, intensifying the moment. Fez pulled away first, looking at Lexi.

"Baby, I am so fucking in love with you. How can you ask me that?" Fez smiled as Lexi leaned closer to him.

"I just...I don't want you to feel trapped in this. I've done enough damage." Lexi explained, her eyes showed sadness again.

"Lex, you and I both coulda done shit a lot different these past few months. Ain't no point in looking back and regretting shit," Fez's hands cradled her cheeks, their noses rubbing together.

"We here now. That's what matters." Fez whispered, his breath on Lexi's lips.

"I love you Fezco. So much." Lexi closed the gap. She gripped his arms, pulling him again into a kiss. This kiss was not as sweet. It was intense and full of sexual tension. Fez pulled away again, their noses still touching.

"How about we go home? Give me a second to close up." Fez smirked at his beautiful girl finally in his arms. She smiled at the suggestion, before her eyes darted at their surroundings.

"Show me around the bar." Lexi smiled. She knew Fez had worked hard for this space. He nodded, standing up, grabbing her hand and pulling her up. All of the workers had gone home, Fez and Lexi being the only ones in the place.

He walked her around the entire area, showing her the new additions he'd been making to the walls, the vision he had for the future, and how much time it took to set everything up. He explained that Ash had not stopped being his right hand man since they stopped dealing. Ash had been involved in the entire process of opening up his business.

"This is all so amazing, I'm so proud of you." Lexi smiled at him, their bodies gravitating closer. Always pulling closer to him. She was addicted to him now that she'd spent so much time together.

He had a vintage juke box in the bar, working perfectly. She got closer to it, admiring the aesthetic it held. She began to peruse the options before pressing on one.

"Let's dance," Lexi looked at Fez shyly. He smiled, grabbing her hand, pulling her flush against him.

"Someone to watch over me" By Ella Fitzgerald played on the speakers.

They swayed slowly, looking at each other, not breaking eye contact. The way he looked at her, made her feel complete, fixed, put back together. She was used to feeling broken. How could she be so foolish to accept how she felt for so many months, knowing that the answer was next door, looking after her, waiting for her, guarding her?

"You know, I'd like to think Grace watches over us. Everyday." Lexi said softly. Fez nodded, his smile softly.

"Always, baby." Fez sighed. Lexi laid her head on his shoulder as they swayed together. The weight of hurting had been haunting them for too long. They physically and emotionally felt like they could finally breathe.

Meanwhile at Fez and Lexi's house:

"I'm gonna cry, this is too cute!" Cassie gushed. She looked at the screen on Ash's laptop, Rue, Cassie, and Ash watching the camera footage at the bar.

"Yeah it's fucking adorable but they better not start fucking loud as shit again." Ash rolled his eyes.

Ash sat in the living room earlier that night, watching tv when he heard Rue and Cassie's voice outside of his house. They had barged in the door, asking Ash If he had access to the bar's camera system. Ash stupidly agreed, and they bullied him into watching how Lexi and Fez made up. It was a bit gross for Ash's taste.

But inside, in the depth of where Lexi and Fez's love laid, he was happy for them. He was becoming concerned about their arrangement. He didn't want them to break up. These few months had been painful, for everyone. But he was glad they could get back to being mushy and shit. He fucked with that more than the fighting.

"Ash you'd rather hear them fucking or fighting?" Rue asked, her eyebrow arched. Ash gagged, looking at Rue.

"None. None of the above." Ash held a face of disgust. Cassie giggled.

They had been so wrapped up in talking that they didn't realize the pair had left and Fez had locked up the bar.

"Cassie...you look nice today." Rue complimented Cassie.

Cassie smiled, batting her eyelashes at Rue, "thanks Rue Rue. You know...we should hang out sometime."

Ash looked between the two, before rolling his eyes. "Oh my god, not you too."

Rue was about to reply when she heard the front door unlock.

Fez and Lexi opened the door, finding Rue, Cassie, and Ash sitting in the living room around a laptop.

"What the fuck?" Fez exclaimed. Lexi looked confused.

"We were uhm..." Cassie began.

"Watching porn!" Ash spoke quick. Cassie and Rue looked at him disgustingly.
