Lexi looked crazy in front of Rue and Jules; she was pacing back and forth. She needed a plan. She needed an action plan on how to greet Fez the next time she saw him.
It had been a few days since she's seen Fez in person. They've texted and talked on the phone, but there was this promise hanging in the air. They knew the next time they would see each other, they wouldn't be just friends. Fez had been busy with his business which made him feel so sorry for not having Lexi over.
But he knew his sweet Lexi understood that. Even Ash had texted her a couple times to say hi. That's how much of an impact she had made in their lives.
Jules spoke up first, "so let me get this straight...You've never even kissed yet you facetime and he tells you how to touch yourself?" Jules smiles at her nervous friend pacing and biting her thumb with her teeth.
"Damn, didn't know you had it in you Lex," Rue speaks up.
"That's not the point guys, I'm supposed to see him today and I don't even know how to say hi! Should I be like, hey, you made me cum the other and basically every other day since, wussup." Her hands were animated and flying everywhere.
"Lexi, there's no reason to feel nervous about seeing him. Think about it, you already did the thing that is most definitely more intimate than what you guys usually do." Jules reasoned with her nervous and frustrated friend.
Lexi didn't know who to go to. She loved her sister, but she didn't trust to ask her sister for any advice on how to keep a boyfriend. How to get one, maybe, yeah, but not on how to keep one. Cassie wasn't exactly an expert on that. So she thought about Rue and Jules. More so Jules, but Rue and Jules are like a package.
It was helpful though. Jules' kindness and support was well balanced by Rue's blunt personality and tell it how it is advice. If she was being honest, she really wouldn't go to Rue for much advice either, considering her track record in relationships.
"I just don't want to fuck it up, you know? It's been a few days and what if he's changed his mind?" Lexi expresses her fears. She's scared to be abandoned.
"Lexi" Jules stood up and placed both of her hands on her shoulders.
"Fez has been crazy about you for 6 months...and you guys have been twisted friends for that time. Girls would kill for that kind of devotion. You haven't even given him sex and he worships you. If he's felt crazy about you for 6 months, how can you possibly imagine he's changed it now after 3 days?"
Lexi smiled and looked at her shoes. "Yeah, thanks." She hugged the taller girl as she began to grab her bag.
"I can do this." Lexi smiled. Jules and Rue gave her a thumbs up.
Lexi biked to his house. Fez said he was going to order dinner for them since they would be able to have dinner together, finally.
She walked up to the front door, her hands clammy in anticipation. She went to knock, and then waited for him to open.
And then, there he was. Her Fez. He smiled wide. She smiled and forgot about her nervousness. It was just him and her. A screen door was all separating him.
"Hi," he started shyly. As soon as he opened the screen door, Lexi jumped the gun, wrapping her arms around his neck, pressing her body flushed against his. She didn't reply and pressed her lips against his. His body immediately reacted and he kissed her back. Their lips moved so naturally, like they've always done this before.
They kissed for what seemed like a long time, before they separated and put their foreheads together.
"Hi," she breathed out. They admired each other, finally being this close. It was like second nature. Like their 6 months led to this one moment.
"Imma need you to come through like that everyday, ma. I could get used to this shit forreal." He chuckled. His blue eyes seemed brighter than before.
She was about to kiss him again, when she heard an annoyed voice.
"About damn time." Ashtray said behind them.
"Go away you perv," Fez called out without unlocking his embrace with his Lexi.
"Are you sure he's 12? He seems more like a bitter 60 year old man to me," she joked.
"I heard that." Ash called out.
"You were supposed to, idiot." Lexi rolled her eyes. They laughed as Fez walked them inside, still holding her hand.
They had dinner together and cuddled on the couch together, stealing kisses off each other. Not worried about a thing. They were the only people in the world that night.
