Fez kissed her bare shoulder behind her, going to his drawer to find a pair of boxers to put on. Lexi smiled as she brushed her teeth, checking out her fiancé's naked figure.

"Ion know about you, but I am starving." Fez called out. She laughed as she turned off the sink faucet, drying her mouth and going to find some underwear for herself.

"Yeah well, after a nice little morning delight, I'm not surprised." Lexi wrinkled her nose as she smiled.

"You talkin dirty now Howard?" Fez gave her a toothy grin, causing her to widen her smile.

"C'mon, you can help me with breakfast for the teenagers we're housing." Lexi said fondly.

Penelope had been staying with them for almost 3 months now. She had really come into her own since she had a stable home with food on her plate on a regular.

She refused to live with them for free so Fez gave her a job at the bar, cleaning and helping customers. Pen hadn't seen her mother since that night that Ash picked her up.

She wanted to keep it that way.

Penelope was never a resentful and vindictive person. In short, she felt like the life she had was the life that was handed to her for a reason.

But now that she stayed with Ash and his family, she grew to hate the past life that she endured. Fez and Lexi didn't call her a whore or a mistake. Ash didn't yell at her for making one mistake. Best of all, no one laid a single hand on her if she didn't want to.

She often wondered, what kind of fucked up life had she lived before?

Lexi taught her to cook some meals and she often shared her favorite books with her. School had been put on a back burner for Pen since she struggled to survive first.

Now, she could properly enjoy doing her history homework and complain about the essay that was due in English class.

It was like nothing could go wrong. She was happy.

Lexi trotted downstairs, finding it odd that the house was silent at this time. Usually by now, Ash and Pen would be waking up and watching cartoons in the living room.

Fez came down soon after, looking at the empty sofa and turned off tv.

"Where the kids at?" Fez asked. Lexi shrugged, walking over to the kitchen.

"Maybe they're sleeping in?" Lexi guessed.

Lexi went on to make breakfast, Fez going into his office to do some bookkeeping for the bar. He had sold the store a couple of years back and used that money for the bar and to invest.

Investments were going well and they really came in handy for their savings.

He went on to his laptop, looking at their home security system, doing his routine check for the night in case there was anything strange going on.

He may be outta the game, but he was still paranoid sometimes. He had to protect his family at all costs.

The security system sent an alert, for 3:00am, notifying him that there was some activity by the front door. He rewinded the footage to watch it, seeing Penelope on the phone, her face clearly upset and scared.

She was leaving their house on her own, walking to god knows where. He kept searching on the time stamps to see if Ash also left.

Surely enough, Ash got his car keys, leaving out the door at 6:00am, taking his car to follow Pen, probably.

He looked pissed and just a little bit scared.

Fez grabbed his phone, calling Ashtray to see where he was. Fez's muscles tensed when his call went straight to voicemail.
