Later on, at Lunch, me, Hollie and Josh, went to get something to eat, from the Food Court. We went outside to find somewhere to sit. It was September, but the Summer weather was still lingering. I spotted a few spare tables, over in the shade. When all of a sudden, someone called Josh's name.
"Hey!Josh, over here!"We all turned around, to face Darren, one of Josh's best friends. We trudged over to where Darren sat. I sat down on the end, next to Hollie.
When we usually had lunch with Josh's friends, I sat opposite Scott, the nicest one of the gang, but when I sat down, expecting to see Scott's cheery smile, I was faced with some couple, with their faces smooshed against each others. Not the most pleasent site, I've seen...
The girl, with bleached blonde hair, who I immediately recognised as Eliza, was sat on the guy's lap. I couldn't quite make out the poor, innocent boy's face, Eliza had picked on today. I tried to make as much noise, as I could to try and break them apart, but I couldn't! Where was Scott?
I had finished my Bacon Roll, and just started on my Orange Juice, when the two finally came apart. (It was a good thing too, they were getting, a little handsy, if you know what I'm saying.)
Then I could clearly see, whose face was getting the 'Eliza Treatment'.
Ahhhh, Samuel, if it was Sam Bishop, I'm sure he was enjoying it. He is the biggest player in the school, he picks and chooses who he wants, and when he wants them, just to spell it out for you, I D I O T. Although, I have to admit, he is kind of cute... With those looks, you don't go unnoticed at this school.
When Eliza looked up with a sly smile on her face, she immediately swapped it for a poisonous glare. Sam, however just looked at me, and said, "Wassup?'" like he didn't just have his head, inside Eliza's gob. Big enough, I thought.
Quickly, snapping out of my thoughts, I said, "Oh, you know just puking my guts up." Eliza just sighed, gave me evils, as she whispered something in Sam's ear, got up and left, leaving all of her half - eaten food on the table, I mean, would it kill you, to help the planet?
Sam just laughed at what she said, and replyed "See you later, babe!" Could this get any worse? Yes, of course it could.
He turned back around, and glanced at me, before going back to his Sausage Roll and glancing up again. I just carried on slurping my Orange Juice and fiddling with the lid. "Hey, it's Bethan, isn't it?" He asked, finally trying to make conversation.
"Yeah, Beth for short."
"Well, Beth. I'm Sam, Samuel for long." He said, as if I don't already know who you are? You can't ignore gossip about the school's biggest player! Thanks, for the sarcasm. Pffffft.
"Yeah, I know, you've got quite a reputation." I said. Sneaky me.
"Oh, yeah, you can't believe everything you hear." He had just finished, when Eliza came back up behind him and put a hand and on his shoulder. He turned his head to see his 'loving' girlfriend and picked up his Blazer. "Well, Beth, it was nice talking to you." He smiled. Oh, God. He smiled AT me. What? Get a grip on yourself, girl!
"Yeah, and you." He got up and left. Whilst they were walking away, Sam's arm around Eliza's shoulder, she turned around and gave me evils. Woah, you can keep him.
Some girls will do anything, to keep a boy.
