The next day, I was up in my room, doing my homework and listening to some music, to 'motivate' me. It's the weekend and I'm doing homework?
YUCK!
The next song came on and I realised it was 'Wild ones' by Flo Rida and Sia.
Ermmagerd!!!! I love this song!
I quickly jumped from my desk and starting dancing around my room, whilst singing at the top of my lungs. When the song ended, I was lead on my back, on top of my bed, out of breath.
"Beth! Someone's here to see you!" My mum yelled up the stairs. What? Who? If it was Hollie she would of sent her right up. Scott? No, my mum knows who he is. Then, who?
I finally realised, that I should be downstairs finding out who was actually here to see me, rather than trying to figure it out.
I flew down the stairs, nearly slipping in my light grey fluffy boot slippers. When I got to the kitchen, my mum was stood at the sink. Hearing my footsteps she turned around. " Took you long enough," she teased. " They're out the back." She continued, knowing I was itching to know who it was.
I opened the door and took a step outside. He had his back to me and all I could see was darkish blonde hair stood, with their hands in their back pockets.
Hearing me, close the door behind me, Sam swiftly turned around.
" W-- What are you doing here? " I asked with a look of bewilderment on my face. I was stood in front of Samuel Bishop, wearing ripped jeans, that were actually ripped by falling over countless times and a baggy T - shirt with paint all over it.
"Well, good day to you too." He said sarcastically, eyeing me.
" What do you want?" I snapped, trying to get to the point and stop him from eye-raping me.
"Well, I was just on my way to Scott's and thought I might pop in, for some biscuits and tea." He said with a smirk on his face. Great, I could just feel the confidence seeping off him.
" What do you really want?" I asked, trying to get him to talk WITHOUT sarcasm.
"What? I can't come and see my bestie without an invitation?" He fake gasped. I just gave him a flat look as he continued, " Well, actually I was going to see Scott, but figured I should give this to you before you freak out." He spoke, as he delved his hand deep into his pocket, bringing out something silver and shiny. At first, I was confused, but then my hand rose to around my neck, and I felt around the chain, counting the charms ....1 ....2 ....3. Where was the fourth?
In his hand, of course. He outstretched his palm, closer to me, and I took the small charm that had: 'Beth' written on it. I took it. "Thanks." I near enough whispered. " I hadn't even noticed it was gone." I breathed, still bewildered.
"Well, that's ok. Good thing I walked back that way, otherwise it would of been in some canine's leaving behinds." He smirked, I wrinkled my nose at his little comment. "I really should get to Scott's now. He'll kill me if I'm late." He said, turning around. I was actually starting to think Sam could be a normal person. But he had to ruin it didn't he?
"Nice singing, by the way." He chuckled. " Maybe sometime we can do a duet." He said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. Which caused me to make gagging noises. He continued to walk off, only calling, "Ah, what a shame, see you later!" over his shoulder. Sam had gone through the side gate, that led to the street. I had only stepped, a foot inside, when I was bombarded with questions, from my mum.
"Who was that? What did he want? He was cute! Do you like him? Someone's got a crush!"
She continued to babble as I said, "That was Sam Bishop, one of Scott's friends, I saw him yesterday, whilst I was walking Shep, one of my charms fell off my necklace and he found it, so he just gave it to me and I don't like him, and I don't have a crush!" I said, without taking a breath. Finally taking a breath, I started walking up the stairs, again.
My mum, still said, " You didn't deny he was cute!" She teased. When I got to the top of the stairs, I saw Freddie, my 12 year old brother, sticking his head, out from behind his bedroom door.
" Morning, Freddo!" I sang.
" Don't call me that, Joe's over!" He warned, but I could already hear the fit of giggles, coming from inside of his room.
"Hey, Joey!" I chirped towards Freddie's bedroom door.
"H--Hi Beth." I heard Joe stutter back to me. Joe had a crush on me, and he was cute, but he was 12! I'm 15, nearly 16! That would be wrong, and plus he was my brother's best mate! Not to mention, younger brother!
Weird.
"I'll be in my room if you need me!" I called over my shoulder as I entered my room. I hit play and sat back down at my desk, starting my homework.
This was going to be a long, hard-working day.
