my fave nba boys ❤️
———————Mac and I were laying on the couch, watching a movie. Suddenly, my phone started ringing. I picked it up, it was my mom.
"Hunny, I'm stuck. Can you and Mac help dig me out?" she asked. We had a blizzard yesterday, which filled our street with about a foot of snow.
"We can. Where are you stuck?" I asked as I sat up. Mac was definitely concerned, sitting up with me as well.
"At the top of the street. There are two shovels next to the house."
"Ok, see you in a minute." I hung up the phone.
"What's wrong?" Mac asked as I stood up.
"My mom's stuck at the top of the street. We are gonna help her out." I said, putting my winter jacket on.
"We?" Mac asked.
"Yes we. Now, get ready." We put on our winter jackets, gloves, boots, and hats. We stepped outside and grabbed our shovels. Mac shivered.
"Is Mr. Florida Man cold?" I asked in a playful tone.
"Shut up." Mac rolled his eyes.
"Hi y/n!" my neighbor, Leah, yelled.
"Hi Leah!"
"Is that your mom stuck up there?" she asked.
"Yeah. We were just gonna go help her." I said, motioning to me and Mac.
"I'll come help too! Let me grab my brothers, they can help to." Leah said, running to her backyard. A minute later, Leah and three boys approached from her driveway.
"Hi Lucas!" one of the boys, Mark, said to Mac. We laughed. We were walking, so Mac's back was facing them; so they couldn't see his face. Lucas is my brother, he was out with friends today.
"That's not Lucas." I said.
"Then who are you?" another boy, Liam, asked.
"Mac Jones." Mac said.
"Haha. Very funny. Who are you really?" the last brother, Ryan, fake laughed.
"Mac Jones." Mac repeated.
"Who is Mac Jones?" Leah asked.
"The quarterback for the Patriots." Liam explained to his sister. We were still walking down the street.
"I thought that was Tom Brady." Leah said. Mac and I lost it.
"He was, then I took his place after he left for Tampa Bay." Mac told Leah.
"You mean when Mac Jones took his place. We just wanna know who you are!" Mark was obviously annoyed.
"I'm y/n's boyfriend, Mac Jones."
"First up, I didn't know you had a boyfriend, y/n. Secondly, who are you! This whole 'I'm Mac Jones' act can't keep up." Ryan exclaimed. We reached the car. Mac turned around and looked at the group behind us.
"Mac Jones, it's a pleasure to meet you guys." Mac smirked. They froze.
"So, this is Mac Jones?" Leah asked.
"Yeahhhhhhh." Liam was definitely starstruck.
"Hey Jones! Get your Florida ass to work." I yelled as I was shoveling around the wheels. Mac jogged over to me.
"Hi Mac! How are you sweetie?" my mom asked Mac.
"I'm good Mrs. y/l/n. How are you?" Mac asked, not shoveling.
"I'm not so good right now, considering the situation we're in." she laughed.
"Yeah." Mac laughed. He stood there awkwardly holding a shovel.
"Mac, do you not know how to shovel snow?" I asked. His face turned beet red.
"You don't! You're such a Florida man!" I laughed.
"Are you just gonna laugh at me or show me?" he asked, trying to shift the conversation. I motioned him over and he followed it.
"So, it's really simple actually. Just get your shovel underneath the snow, make sure it doesn't fall out, and throw it onto the grass." I demonstrated. Mac nodded and tried. He did it with ease.
"See! You got it!" Mac smiled big. We kept shoveling, the boys showering Mac with questions. Other people joined in, them too being shocked to see the Patriots' starting quarterback shoveling a car out of snow.
"I think it's good. Try to drive it out, we'll push it." I told my mom. My mom got in her car and turned it on. Mac, Ryan, Leah, and I started to push the car. Mac was doing most of the pushing, for obvious reasons. The car got out of the snow and going down the street. We all started cheering. Then, she got stuck again. We all groaned.
"She's barley stuck, me and Mac got this." I told the others.
"Do we?" Mac asked as we walked toward the car.
"Yeah we do." I said. Mac grabbed my hand as we jogged to the car. When we got there, I went up to my mom's window. She rolled it down so she could hear me.
"You're barely stuck. Mac and I are gonna push you." my mom nodded, keeping the window down.
"You ready babe?" I asked Mac, as we got behind to car.
"Yeah. Are you?"
"Always." I smirked.
"Cocky aren't we?" he smirked.
"Go!" I yelled, totally ignoring Mac. Mac and I started pushing. It took us like 20 seconds to get her out. She got all the way to our driveway and pulled in.
"Yay!" I yelled, high-fiving Mac.
"Let's go get our shovels." Mac said. We walked back to grab our shovels. We walked back with the boys and Leah, the boys conversing with Mac and me and Leah conversing.
We got back to our houses and parted ways. Mac and I walked inside, our bodies filling with warmth. We took off our layers and went to the living room. We laid on the couch, cuddled up underneath a blanket.
"Nice job Florida man." I smiled.
"Anytime." he winked. He pulled me in for a sweet kiss.
"Cocky son of a bitch."
"You still love me though." he smirked. I rolled my eyes.
"I love your cocky, Florida, son of a bitch ass." I smiled.
"Oh I know you do." he pecked me on the lips.
