Lily

"Diddy ain't raise no sucker!" I yell and crack my neck.

When I woke up ten minutes ago, I didn't see him next to me. Instead, he was in the dining room already eating breakfast without even bothering to give me a kiss first. Now I want a wrestling match for revenge.

Muffin laughs and rubs his hands together. "Bring it on, little lady."

"I'm warning you, Theo. I know how to tackle a fella."

He wipes his forehead with the bottom of his tank top. "That shit turns me on, Lily."

"What?"

"When you say my name." He smiles. "It makes my dick hard."

I stand up straight and gasp in shock. "Theo!"

"Mm-hmm, just like that, baby."

My heart begins to beat faster and my face reddens. "You've got a filthy mouth, Muffin."

"I've got a big dick, too. Let's test it out on the counter, yeah?"

Goodness gracious, this man knows how to get my lady parts tingling.

He laughs and stands up all the way. "I'm kidding, Lily." He says and starts to walk to the bedroom. He turns back around. "I'm actually not at all. Whenever, and I mean whenever, you want to do that, I volunteer as tribute."

"What if someone else volunteers?"

A glare forms on his face instantly. "Then they'll die."

"Muffin, you can't do that."

He frowns and begins walking to the bedroom again. "Says who?"

I shake my head and follow behind him. "The law, sugar. The law."

When I step inside, I rush to the closet before he can see what's inside. "What are you hiding?" He asks, trying to see what's behind me.

I fidget with my fingers. "Oh, nothin', just my shoes."

Today was our anniversary for the day we first met. Muffin and I agreed not to get each other anything, but I just couldn't stop myself. I tried to limit myself to only one gift. But every time Muffin smiles at me, my heart flutters and I just want to give him the whole wide world. Now there are six presents behind me.

He stares at me for a second before lifting me up and moving me out of the way. I grin at how effortlessly he lifts me and disregard him finding the presents.

"Forget about the gifts. I'll take you up on that offer, Muffin."

He holds up a small box. "Lily, I thought we said we weren't getting each other anything."

I hold my hands up in defense. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! It's just… look at you! How can I not get something for the man that makes me smile every day? That's like asking me to stop wearing sandals gosh darn it!"

Which I will never stop doing, by the way.

I glance at the bed as he is about to say something. An object of some sort appears underneath it. I turn back to him, thinking nothing of it but do a double take, seeing it looks like a gift. I gasp and try to walk to the bed, but Muffin stands in front of me.

I furrow my eyebrows. "What's underneath the bed, Hun?"

"Nothing. Nothing at all."

"Why do I see a box, then?"

He smiles and holds my waist. "Have I told you just how beautiful you look today, Li-"

I get out of his hold and rush past him. After kneeling to the floor, I pull out the boxes and bags from underneath. I gasp and point a finger at him. "I knew it!"
