How do you feel love?
That's a question, both the immortal and God had.
Though each was different, in a fuller context.
The deity never knew love, affection, or passion. There was simply no point... In the long run, Gods aren't even supposed to love, especially with a mortal. Only a few have broken that rule.
The immortal though? Can't love again. He just can't, see another one fall ill, kill themselves, or perish due to an accident, having to be forced to forget and continue living as he can't die, he wishes he could...
Oh, how he wishes...

That question always made Dream's mind blank, the last he loved someone was in the 80s...
" I-... I don't know it's been a while since I've loved... "
That seemed to intrigue the divinity even more.
" But isn't that what you humans are all about? ' Love and peace '? "
Dream tensed.
" Shouldn't you know what love is? Even in a family way? "
" Gods have families... It's just after a certain point, they kinda just.. Leave? As they have work to be done, I mean I see my uncle here and there, but we don't honestly have a connection? Is that what you humans call it? "
Dream paused, that's a lot of info to take in.
" So, basically, you may share blood but you don't see each other as family? "
Fundy nodded, slowly putting his hand down to pick the other up.
" I guess you could put it like that... "
Dream hummed, slowly climbing onto the god's hand.
Slowly picking his hand up to his face, wanting to get a better look at the cursed.
" Do you remember who you last loved? "
Dream stiffened, the last person he loved...
" I- well... He was lovely really... Always bubbly, and kind his caramel hair was so soft.. Always smelled like cinnamon and cookies... His name was Karl... "
The above tilted their head in a dog-like way, it was cute.
" That sounds a lot like the god of times, maybe you met a god in their previous life, gosh you could even be a Deity like me, but you can't die so you can't even find out... Pity... "
Dream sighed.
" I'm fine-ish the way I am now, but if I was a God what would I even be the God of? "
" Immortality. "
The fox snorted as he smiled.
" Makes sense "
The blonde shrugged, a small smile on his face as he saw the redhead giggled.
His face felt warm.
