A Demon's Social Life

The twins eventually had to leave the mansion, but said they would come back tomorrow. Bill let them go and plopped down onto his bed, it was a long day.
The next day, as promised, the twins came back. On their way to Bill's house, they stopped in their tracks and looked down an alley. Before them, a depressing sight was unfolding. There, surrounded by five, huge, menacing kids, in the shadowy alleyway, Bill was lifted off the ground by his shirt, and being punched, kicked, and toyed with. He didn't struggle as the bullies continued to mangle his face, tearing his clothes, and chucking rocks at him.
"HEY! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?" Mabel screamed, chucking a rock at the largest bully. The five dropped the helpless blonde and turned toward the girl. "Oh, yeah? And what are YOU gonna do about it?" The largest one replied smugly. Mabel strutted up to him, pulled her arm back, and punched him in the face, sending the bully sprawling across the pavement. The others looked at their leader in shock and turned back towards the brunette. "Any questions?" She asked, punching her other, open hand.
Without hesitation, the bullies scrambled away from the crumpled blonde and his menacing friends. The twins helped Bill up. His face was bruised, nose bleeding and cheek cut and swollen. Tears streamed down his face as he embraced the female twin as if when he let go, he would never see her again.
The three friends quietly walked back to Bill's house, the only sound made, the sniffling of the blonde as he quietly weeped. When they got to his house, the twins bandaged him up and brought him up to bed. As his head hit the pillow, he was out, as if the events earlier didn't even occur.
