7. Coming Out

It took a while before Riya came even relatively close to her normal talkative self. Everyone was still in shock.

"Are you okay Riya?" asked Nidhi concerned. 

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay." she replied with a faint smile.

"You beat the shit out of that guy Riya! It was awesome!" said Akul as the people from the other class came in and surrounded Riya.

"Hey...how are you?" asked Jayanth first.

"I'm fine, thanks." 

"Damn, I wish I was here to witness all of it." said Srujan. looking at the pool of blood still on the floor.

"Trust me, you don't." said Nidhi and Akul agreed.

"Chuck that. What about the guys? They're criminals and they got away!" said Amitha.

"Oh my god, yeah!" agreed Keerthi.

"Also, what if they come back for like revenge or something?" she added.

"Nah. They're too scared to come back here after all that. Besides, it's not like they can beat Riya or any of the others." said Akul.

"What are we going to do now?" asked Nidhi.

"I don't know but shouldn't we go to the police?" said Riya as she got up to leave.

"What!? You can't do that! They'll find out all about you then!" said Nidhi thinking it was a bad idea.

"Again, I don't care. Also I'm not allowing them to walk around thinking they can sexually harass anyone like that." she said infuriated. "Besides, the police will know what to do next."

She walked out of class and everyone followed her to go meet the principal. 

"Can we come in?" she asked as she, Nidhi and Akul stood out of her office.

"Come in!" they heard the voice of the Social teacher say. He had regained consciousness a while ago and they were surprised to see him here untying their principals and teachers arms and legs.

"Oh my God." said Riya walking in.

"What happened?" asked Nidhi.

"The three terrorists came in and tied us all up." answered the principal as she removed the tape that was covering her mouth.

"Why were they here?" she asked.

"I don't know Riya. Are they gone now? Is everyone okay?" she asked.

"Yeah they're gone, all thanks to Riya. She scared them off. Otherwise we would've died." said Akul.

"Oh really? That's...great Riya. Good work." she said with a short smile. She didn't look convinced.

"Thank you ma'am....We came to see if we can call the police." said Riya.

"Yes yes. I will do that right away. In the meantime, can you all go and check on all the classes and teachers?" she said grabbing the telephone with her shaking hand.

"Yes ma'am" said Riya noticing it and they all left to do as they were told.

Maya and the rest of the pack had already checked half the classrooms.

"Hey, what happened!?" asked Maya as she saw Riya enter her floor and Riya summarized the whole thing for her. "Go and tell the others too. Did you check all the classes?" she asked.
