Chapter 2 (caught)

Luffy

As I woke up from my nap, I noticed Ace wasn't there. "He must be hunting" I say out loud.

I decided to go look for Ace.

I stood up and  stretched a little and then padded over to the little entrance of home.

As I whent out I could see the big sun shine at me. The cool asphalt under my feet. The coolness of the wind on my fur.

As I payed along the monsters domain. The room tonight quickly when before they could catch me. That noises out side always gave me the creeps.

After a while I decided to hunt as well. I'm not a rut anymore. I'm six months almost as big as Ace.

Narrator

I know where by Luffy.

He had been found by animal control and he is about to be turned in.

The people in the green truck slowly came to a stop and got out.

They quickly grabbed her neck and tip toed towards Luffy.

Ace

As I make my way back to home I noticed Luffy.

I dropped and abandoned my kill and disited to scare him.

I crouch down and make my closer to him.

However when I was aborted to bounce. Luffy got scooped up by the net.

"LUFFY" I scream running towards. "Ace" I heard him say.

However it was too late. The monster started moving again.

I tried to catch up to it. It was to fast and I lost it.

"damn it" I hissed. Collapsing out of breath.

Luffy

I was petrified. I was stuck in a box type thing.

I huddled my self into the corner.

"A... Ace" I said quietly.

"He's not hear" I heard a voice say. I look up to see a calico.

"Huh" I say.

"You must be scared your just a kitten" it said sitting up.

"Were am i" I mewed. I moved closer. "We are in the transport to take us to the pound" she answered.

"Pound" I ask tilting my head.

"It's were you  either die or find a home" another cat spoke up beside me.

"Home like house cat" I chirped.

"Yes exactly" the brown cat spoke.

"No I'm a stray and always be one" I hissed standing up.

"Well sorry to tell you kid a cat like you is what humans like" the brown tom mewed.

The calico nodded.

Suddenly we came to a stop.

"I guess we're here" I calico said.

We were suddenly shown light. Then I saw the humans that caught me.

They quickly took each and one of us in the box out.

Finally it was mine turn. They carefully took me out.

Then I was taken inside. It was full of more but bigger boxes.

They finally set me down by a glass window.

I looked at the man. "Don't  where you Kitty, you have a new home soon enough and a nice bed and food  all you could ever dream of"  the man said.

He then opened the box and placed me in a bigger glass one.

In truth I was really scared.

I don't know how much time past but all I know I heard a weird noise.

I looked up to see a blonde man's back it quickly turns and looked at me looking at me.

Cora

I walked up to the shelter. I'm a man on mission.

I walk in and is graded with a young lady that's typing out the desk.

"hello I say waving " going up to her.

"You must be Mr. Corazon" she says looking at me.

"Yep that's me" I smile.

"So what's bring you to our shelter"

"I'm looking for a cat friend for my other cat law"

"Oh that's wonderful the cats are right this way" she says standing up and leading the way.

We made it to the cats and she opened the door.

There were a lot. Some big some small. As I started to look around.

One caught my eye a buttiful calico.

However when I whent over I felt  something watching me.

I turned around to lock eyes with a small black kitten. So I walk over to it.

The little thing moves to the corner and tryst to look as small as possible.

"I'll take this one" I say pointing to the kitten.

"Oh that one" the green haired woman said.

"Yes" I nodded.

"Ok" she says taking the keys out.

She Opening the cases and grabbed the kitten and then gave me him.

It was shaking. "Hay its ok little one" I say holding him.

"What are you going to name the little guy" she asked.

"King Luffy" I say.

"Oh are you naming him after the famous Pirate King series"

"Yep"

After signing the information to buy him, we had a home.

"I bet Torao will like you" however Luffy never stoped shaking.

Lucky my house is in the walking distance.

Ace

I haven't been able to find it any were.

I've looked all over town.

"Luffy" I yell.

Then bam I was on the ground a big white cat on top of me.

"Let me go" I hist trying to get away.

"What are you don't hear young one" he said in a booming voice.

"I didn't mean to come on your turf I was just looking for my brother" I mewed. Still under his paw.

"Whitebeard" another cat appeared.

This was my chance. I swiped at him and got his nose. He stepped back and I ran as fast as I could.
