chapter 12 (Fire claw Ace)

Ace

"Oh yes My name is Fire Claw Ace" As I said my name he suddenly halted.

"A.. Ac.... Ace" the black tom quietly mewed out.

"Yah that's my name do you not like it" I purred.

"No its... Nothing it's just I know someone named Ace that's all" the tom said flating his ears.

"Really so what happened to him" I ask rubbing up against him.

"We had a fight" he said moving again.

"Can I ask what about... I know it's non of my business.. . You know what forget I.. "

"It was about me being a house cat" I said very quietly I could barely hear.

"Oh I'm sorry" I flicked my tail.

"It's alright it's not your fault my brother was just convinced that the only way to be a cat was to be on the streets shishi" he he laftedhis head and tail dropped.

I stopped a million things running through my head.

That caused my head to hurt. It caused my to stop and switch at my head.

"Ace are you ok" Lu asked turning to me.

"Oh yah I'm fine how far till we get to your friends" I asked walking past him.

"Actually were here" he says.

I look at the big white house with a garden in the front.

"Thank you for walking me here" he says walking in the dog house.

"See you around Lu" I say walking  away back to my territory.

Narrator

After a while Luffy and Ace started bumping into meeting each other.

Every time they met Ace would escort Luffy every time they meant.

It didn't matter if Luffy was with Law.

It didn't matter if Ace was on petrol or just hunting.

Law

As Luffy, Ace and I were walking back to the house.

Luffy bubbly as always, with a spring in his step.

Talking Ace's ear off of what he and his friends did the other day.

We made it to our house.

"Thank you for escorting us Ace" the black cat purred running into the house.

Ace smiled brightly at him as he left.

"Why haven't you told him yet" I said making Ace jump.

"Oh Law" the tom breathed.

"What are you taking about" he said trying to lie.

"why haven't you told Luffy your his brother Ace" I hisss my ear twitching in annoyance.

"Oh yah that" he says looking down.

"Well umm you see" he mumbled on.

"Well what" I say sitting down.

Ace took a deep breath "He seems really happy with you".

"yeah so"

"I was horrible to him... I feel like I don't deserve to be called his big brother" he says almost crying.

I brush up against him, start  grooming him.

"But you've changed. He loves you he thinks it's his fault"

"His fault" Ace perks up. "It's no were near his fault..I tried to forget everything Luffy that night all of it but nothing worked....It was mine I was a dum kit trying to be tough self back then. If I could go back.... If I could go back to that night I wouldn't have yelled at him calling him not my brother I would have been excepting. and then maybe..." Ace  trailed off.

"Then maybe what" I ask looking him straight in the eye.

"Then maybe I could have been a good brother to Lu" he says slouching.

Ace

"Ace... Is that all true"

"Yah Law that's my truth if I could take it all back I would have" I say lifting my head.

When I looked I saw Law looking at something I turned my head and Luffy.
