Chapter 11 (Dog)

The closest way to Usopp is through the soul garden.

I felt the wind fly threw my dark black fur. As I walked the streets.

"It's really windy today" I mewed to my self finding the golden arch entrance of the garden.

The smells of the city garden smelled amazing. It had almost every flower in the city. Daisies to Liylaks.

I followed the dirt path that ainchechent cats made long ago to the thorn bushes. The thorn bushes were put in a few weeks ago.

I never liked going through the thorn bushes. The thorns always some how got in my fur. So I jumped on to the bushe and started claiming up.

When I get to the top I take a second to get some tiny little thorns out of my fur and collar.

"These are nasty little things no matter what I do you guys seem to get into my fur" I hisst through my teeth as I pulled them out. After I got a of them out I groomed myself for a minute.

Then I take a leap of faith on to the side walk below. "Pew I'm getting better I even landed on my paws this time and not my face" I mewed to my self quietly.

I continue on my journey to Usopp's place.

The street was buzzing with people and their dogs. I easy walked past them.

However when I turn a corner I came face to face with a big snarling black dog.

I flawed my ears and slowly backed away.

"Cat Cat kill kill" the dog growled out. The dog yanked his chain barking louder and louder.

I was frozen in fear. My tail was puff up, arched my back and ready my claws.

Lucky the dogs owner came out side and yelled at the dog. The dog didn't listen and pulled on his cain again.

The chain snapped. The dog came running towards me.

I flattened my ears and shut my eyes. 'This is the end I should have never gone out alone' I thought.

Then I heard a big yelp and big large dogs steps go in the distance.

I trembled for a few more seconds then a minutes. I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me there was a big slim black cat.

I raised my head. "Your safe now" the cat mewed walking over to me.

I sat up. "Thank you" I mewed out ducking my head in submission.

"No problem Akainu is all bark and no brain" the black tom purred.

"Hay what's a house cat like you doing in a place like this" he asked sitting in front of me.

"Oh I was going to see my friend Usopp's place" I chirped looking up at the black cat.

"I thought there were no clans around here" I said liking my pelt.

"Oh I was just out hunting.. There hasn't been very much pray around and then I saw you clime the thorn bushes" he said raping his tail around his paws.

I stopped mid lick. "You.. You saw me" I squeaked out flattening my ears.

"Yes I thought it was very impressive.. If you weren't a house cat I'd ask you to join the Whitebeards" the tom purred.

I glared at the tom "what's that supposed to mean".

"You have a human right, you don't wanna leave them and WHO ARE THE WHITEBEARD'S just the best clan in dressrosa" the cat mewed out sawing his tail side to side.

I jumped to my paws. "Yhah so I can still hunt and fight" I growled out.

"yah like you did to Akainu" the tom chuckled.

"Well I've only seen big dogs not up close" I mewed quality sifting my paws.

"Akainu is all bark and no brain" he hummed liking his pelt.

I huffed flicking my tail.

"Well come on where does your friend live" the cat asked turning around.

"Why do you care" I hisst looking up at him.

"I'll be your personal escort so no dogs or other cats bother you" the tom purred.

Why do I feel like I can trust him I  thought.

"Fine" I said moving in front of him.

"What's your name by the way" I ask as we walk on the side walk.

"Oh yes Name's Fire claw Ace"
