The Pain will fade

1 month after endgame

Peter sat on his bed balling for the third time today and he'd only been awake for an hour. "Petey." May gently whispered into his room. Ever since Tony and Natasha had died Peter hadn't left his room. "Peter you need to eat." Most days May would have to force him to eat, drink and shower. "You have a visitor."
"Tell them to go away I don't want to see anyone!" Peter yelled slamming his head back down into his tear stained pillow. "Peter?" Pepper whispered at the door. "Morgan wants to see her big brother." Peter slowly got up and opened the door. Pepper's eyes had bags underneath them and they were red from crying. Morgan ran up to Peter and flung herself into his arms. "Hi Petey!"
"Hey Morgan. How are you?" Peter asked with a genuine smile he had missed Morgan and Pepper now that he thinks about it he's missed everyone. 
"I'm good Petey uncle Steve is all old and wrinkly now." Morgan said laughing. Peter chuckled at his sister. She may not be sister bye blood but in his heart he will always love her as a sister. "Hey Pepper."
"Hey Petey."
"How are you?"
"I'm ok. how are you?"
"Ive been better." Peter said putting Morgan down so she could go Thor hug her. Pepper walked over to Peter and gently wrapped her arms around him as he cried on her shoulder. "The pain will fade." She whispered into his ear. Reluctantly the pair pulled apart and pepper spoke up so May could hear her aswell. I would like you pair to come and live with me and Steve." (No they arnt dating she is helping him in his old age) "wait what?" May asked looking shocked.
"I mean you don't have to but I would love it if you would." Pepper said with a small smile followed by a shrug. Peter stood there looking at Pepper she had always been there for him and now it was his turn to help her. "Yes we'll move in with you I would love to be with my sister more." He said smiling tears of joy threating to spill. "Great lets get packing."

1 year later

"No Morgan you are not styling my hair for my date!" Peter yelled at his little sister. Morgan didn't say anything she just looked at him with the biggest puppy dog eyes she could muster and a little pout. Peter couldn't resist he sighed and mumbled a small fine. Morgan screamed in delight as she ran off to get her hair supplies. She came running back into the room smiling widely.

10 minutes of hair styling later

Morgan had given Peter two little pony tails on top of his head. (like the one that adults give babies to keep hair out of their faces) Peter looked in the mirror smiling oh how Mj was going to tease him for this their last date he had a my little pony clip just chillin in his hair. Morgan smiled and brushed her hands off telling Peter that she was done. "Peter MJs here!" Pepper yelled from downstairs. Peter put on his shoes and ran down stairs he was greeted by the four most important girls in his life, Morgan was still standing behind him holding a brush smiling, Pepper was smiling at Morgan, May was talking to Steve and Mj was laughing at his hair. Morgan walked over to Mj a huge smile on her face, "do you like it?" She said as she lightly tugged on MJ's dress. MJ looked down at Morgan and smiled, "of course I do it makes him look very handsome."
Peter chuckled as Morgan ran away giggling. Mj smiled at the little girl running away. Pepper was right that pain was still there but it had faded. The pain will fade. Always.
