Cold…so cold. Alone in a nearby store in this winter season. I lost my mom…my dad…I don’t know where I am.

“M-mommy?? D-daddy??” I kept calling them but only to be response by silence and cold air brushing off my bangs. “Help! Please!!” I sniffed and hugged myself. “I…I’m s-scared…” Tears streaming down my face as I nearly lost hope. Not until a boy came in front of me. My eyes were a little droopy and I can’t see his face. “N-no…st-stay away from me!!” I crawled back as fast as I could but the boy just kept following me until I was cornered. “P-please don’t hurt me…” I started to cry and hug myself even more…but he put something in my shoulders and that is his jacket.

He held me with his arms to keep me warm. “Who…are y-you??” I asked.

“My name is…”

“TRINA MORGAN!!!”

“WAAAAAAAAHHH!!!” I screamed awake and fall myself out of the bed. “Ooowww!!!” Another day, another dream and again…always fall out pf the bed. Maybe I’d rather marry the floor instead of chasing boys that doesn’t love you truly. *Sigh*, talk about dumb stuff. “Are you going to make out with the floor all day? Get up and take a bath…we’re going to be late.” Ayla said and went to the other room to wake Ash.

I grunted as I remember that is still school day. I pick myself up and make my way towards the bathroom. All of this is still new to me…even my dream is new. “I wonder why my dream went far back from time…hmm…”

“Hurry up Trina!!”

“Okay! Okay! Jeez…you don’t have to shout…”

After I’m done taking a shower, I change clothes immediately because this stupid me didn’t check the time. Then I grab my bag and go downstairs while combing my messy hair. “Good morning!!” I said as I arrived at the kitchen and eat. “What took you so long??” Ash asked beside me and took a bite to her toasted bread. “Just me being me…” I laugh slightly and took a huge bite of my bread. Me and Ash chat a bit until we felt a heavy presence from behind and we knew that were screwed.

“Hurry up…our ride is here…”

I looked at Ash, clueless about our ride, and she just shrugged. Ayla went out first and I was the last one. I locked the door behind me and stopped my tracks when I notice a familiar car. “You’ve got to be kidding me…” Me and Ash sync. Someone poked its head out of the window and its none other done Ryan himself. “Good morning!! Ready to go?” Ryan said with a happy tone. “Wow…I was expecting something rude…” I said and opened the backseat. “Be grateful that I’m in a good mood today.” I rolled my eyes at him and once we’re inside…all of them started bickering nonstop. Except Ben, Ayla and me. I sighed…I wish this day could get better.

“Shit we’re going to be late…”

“And whose fault is that?”

“Stop blaming me…I did the right thing earlier!!”

“Yes you did but you don’t have to drove us to the vet! You could’ve just give the bird to other person and now look…WE’RE RUNNING LATE BECAUSE OF YOU!!!”

This is getting out of nowhere. “Guys!! Stop fighting already!! What’s done is done okay?” Both of the bickering duo looked away angrily as the rest of us continued to ran in the hallway…until we came into a halt and face the principal with the guidance counselor beside him. “Mrs. Stenson!” Ayla walked in front of us while catching her breath from all the run. “Good morning students…care to explain why all of you are 30 minutes late?” Mrs. Stenson stated. We looked at each other, using our eyes to communicate whether to tell them the truth or make an excuse. “We hit a bird on our way here…and we have to go to the vet…that’s why we’re late.” Ben said it without hesitation.
