Fairy Tail Gratsu "Everyone loves Natsu" (Finished!)

Chapter 11

After a short swim they were so exhausted that they wanted to rest. But not in their bed or anything, but in the sauna! They quickly swapped their clothes for towels and excitedly opened the door. With the power they used in slamming the door, all eyes fell on the grinning magician and his companion. While they let their eyes wander to look for nice free spots, their eyes fell on a rather horrified ice mage. He couldn't believe that they had searched here after all! So he had went through all that sweating for nothing! Even more surprised were Natsu and Happy who would rather have bet Gray had emigrated than find him here! To solve their confusion, they wanted to ask him about it and approached him, but at the same time he got up and stormed past them. "Hey! Now wait a minute!", Natsu shouted and successfully grabbed Gray's wrist to prevent him from running away. "Let me go, idiot! Why do you want to do something to me?! Just leave me alone!" "No damn it! I won't answer any of your questions until you tell us why you've been avoiding us for ages! I've had enough of your ignorance!", the Dragonslayer complained tightening his grip. "Why am I avoiding you?? Well, because there's something wrong with me! Damn shit, Freed's spell didn't worked right on me!! I still love you! Firstly it hurts to know that you'll never return these feelings and secondly they can't be real!! I've been trying for ages now to get rid of these shitty feelings and suppress them so we can get back to the way we were before and would be able to go on missions but you don't make it easier for me with your gorgeous looks, all your shitty ways and that smile that makes me melt!!! Whatever this is, I'll keep avoiding you!!!", Gray yelled in exasperation finally tearing himself away. Now he could escape the situation without further problems. He went to his room and packed his things, he wouldn't be able to stand it here for another second. So he hurriedly went to the nearest station and got on the next train which would bring him back.

In the meantime Natsu and Happy went back to the buffet to eat away their frustration.

"I'n newer gomma haw a chanche", Natsu muttered through his full mouth, making it difficult even for Happy to understand him. "Don't say that! We don't even know with what kind of spell he is occupied with!", Happy tried to cheer him up. "Yes, but even if that curse or something is broken and he does fall in love with me, you can see that he doesn't want to have anything to do with those feelings!", the Fire Dragonslayer said glumly. "How about if we make good use of the rest of the time? We have all of tomorrow before we head back. We could try going to the amusement park or some other activity", the blue exceed suggested to cheer up his friend. He agreed and so the rest of today and the next day flew by. With all the fun the two friends were having they had completely forgotten about Gray.
It was Sunday evening and the two of them waited patiently for Lucy and Erza in the lobby. However, they waited another hour because the two women did not give an exact time.

"There you are at last! Why are you all covered in mud?", Natsu asked puzzled when his friends came through the main entrance. "...we really don't want to talk about that...", Lucy answered him. "Where's Gray? He knew you were supposed to be in the lobby in the evening!", Erza complained. Unlike Lucy, only her arms, hair and face were covered in mud, since she had probably changed her armor. "He left yesterday afternoon. He didn't say where he would go and we haven't seen him since then either", Natsu admitted sheepishly after which Erza slapped him on the back of his head. "You lost him?? How could that have happened?!", the redhead asked angrily. "Well, he was just avoiding me and when I was finally able to confront him about it, he seemed quite upset... Long story short: he said Freed's runes didn't worked on him or was just possessed by some other spell or curse or whatever because he still has feelings for me."

On the way to the train station Natsu explained the story in more detail and no matter how much he would have liked to get upset about the ice magician, as soon as he got on the train he couldn't talk any more because his motion sickness kicked in. Even with the help of Lucy and Happy, he just managed to get a seat on the train and after a few agonizing hours he was finally able to breathe the fresh air outside of the damn train.

Upon entering the guild hall Erza immediately asked Mirajane if she had seen Gray and to her relief she was told that he had returned yesterday and was now on another quest. That also calmed the other three immensely. Natsu also wanted to accept another job because he hadn't worked on the last one, but the two women probably saw it differently somehow. "Stay here!", Erza ordered and held the Salamander by the hair, which also got mud on it because of her grip. But rather his hair than his scarf...

"Hmm? How come? I want to fight too!", he complained and Happy agreed with his typical: "Aye!" "If you go on another quest now, you'll just miss Gray again. And then that drags on forever! We saw how miserable you were, so you'll just have to stay and wait! Plus you can wash your hair then", Lucy explained putting her hands on her hips. He grunted in response and nodded at which point Erza finally let go of him. We'll all meet back here in an hour. That should be enough time to wash ourselves", Titania said and walked out of the guild. The other three did the same and met back at the guild in an hour.
