Fairy Tail Gratsu "Everyone loves Natsu" (Finished!)

Chapter 2

"If Natsu's going to anyone, it's going to be me!", another guild member yelled from across the room. "No, he's mine!!"  "No Natsu, take me!" "Hey, but I want him!"  Shouts related to Natsu could be heard from all corners of the guild. He was really getting tired of it. Natsu jumped onto the bar and made an announcement: "What the heck is that?! Damn it, I don't belong to anyone! What's gotten into you all?? Come back to yourselves!" The finally settled silence was broken by the slamming of a door. "Why is everyone shouting here?! What's going on?!", Makarov wanted to know and seemed quite annoyed. "Gramps!  They all want something from me!", Natsu answered him in a panic and tried to get to him without being stopped by anyone.

"Natsu? What do you mean by that?", he wanted to know and raised an eyebrow. "See for yourself", he said, turning to the guild and calling out: "Which one of you would want me as a boyfriend?" Half of the hall almost screamed with one voice: "ME!!"  "Oh. I understand. It would be best to go home and hide there until we find a solution. I'll contact you then." "What?! I'm not hiding! Not from any danger and certainly not from my friends!" "Natsu! But this is not about what you want! I don't know what got into everyone, but looking at how Gray, Lucy, and Juvia would like to cut Gajeel's head off down there, I guess it would be best for everyone if you stayed away from them for now. Otherwise they could harm each other in this state! How about we call it 'keep covered until it's over' instead of hiding? Do it for Fairy Tails sake!" Makarov's voice was a little pleading but still firm and Natsu knew it was an order. So he couldn't say no. He then went home, not through the main gate but through a window, so that no one would notice him.

Outside the guild on his way home he noticed a note in his pocket. 'Natsu, go to this address! You will be accommodated there temporarily since your home would probably be visited first. I'll send people after you.' On his way to the address he thought about how Gramps could slip him the note without being noticed but he couldn't think of it.

An hour later he was standing in front of a large hut in the woods. There was no name on the bell so he didn't know who owned the house. After repeated knocks nobody answered so he let himself in.

Natsu looked around a bit. Two bathrooms, open kitchen connected to a dining room. Next to it is a living room with a fireplace. On the second floor were several bedrooms.  Even though the house was fully equipped, it seemed uninhabited and empty. There was no life in here.

For this reason he simply chose the largest bedroom. Probably wouldn't bother anyone anyway! There was a double bed, its own fireplace, a chest of drawers, a bookshelf and a closet, all empty.

With everything was meant everything. There was not even food! So the Salamander went to chop firewood to get something to eat. Flames were always tasty!

In the evening he went back into the house and dropped all the firewood when Gray surprised him by throwing his arms around his neck. He pushed him away and saw that Levy was also trying to cling on him, but was stopped by Gajeel who caught a hateful glare from Levy. It broke Gajeel's heart...

"What are you doing here?" "Gramps sent us. The shrimp should find out why everyone is after you. Gray is here so she can observe his behavior and I'm here  to keep them both under control", Gajeel explained to him with a sigh. "Okay, I see..." "Really?", Gajeel asked in surprise.  "No, not really." Gajeel slapped his forehead with his hand. "I should have known... Anyway, you've probably noticed that almost everyone is attracted to you today, wants to be around you and may even have fallen in love with you. This is by far not normal, so we need to figure out what caused this and how to fix it. That's what we're here for. Okay?"  Natsu nodded and kept trying to push Gray away.

"What did you want with all that wood anyway?", Gajeel asked. "I was just about to make a fire!"  "Ah okay.  And what are you frying? I could use a bite right now." "I don't cook anything over the fire, I eat the fire! I'm a Fire Dragonslayer! Remember? Who's the idiot here? Besides, there's no other food in the house.", Natsu explained to him and pointed to the kitchen. "If you eat fire and I eat iron, what should the others eat? We should go shopping", the black-haired one suggested while walking towards the door with Levy under his arm. "You stay here, I'll take them both, if they're not around they're acting normal for whatever reason." And so the three went out of the hut. Two of them rather reluctantly. But as soon as the door was closed, it was as if nothing had happened! "Gajeel? What is going on? And why was I trying to hug Natsu?!" Gray was clearly overwhelmed! He'd realized for a while ago that he felt more than friendship for the fire mage, but decided to keep it quiet and hide his feelings. Because he was firmly convinced that the other would never feel more than just friendship and in order to not risk this very strange friendship he kept his mouth shut. Or at least until today! He would have liked to slap himself after what he said in the guild and how he reacted after Gajeel punched Natsu was just extremely embarrassing! But he couldn't do anything about it. After Natsu entered the guild hall Gray couldn't control his emotions. Instead of Gajeel Levy replied: "For some reason that I still don't know, half the guild has developed feelings for Natsu. Feelings like love, desire, or want just being close to him. That means what you did is not your fault. I was also acting strange in Natsu's presence. Those feelings have appeared and become stronger for about a week and that even though Natsu wasn't even present. But don't worry Gray, I'll find out what's going on with all of us." "I hope so", Gajeel commented extremely annoyed. Actually he had planned to confess his love to Levy but certainly he wouldn't do that under those circumstances!

Gray didn't know what to do with this information. He was just out of his denial phase and now he was being told, what he was feeling wasn't real? He couldn't decide which was worse...
