The black haired boy was still trying to comprehend what had just happened when a tap on his shoulder brought him back to reality. "What did Lucy want? And where are her and Erza?", Natsu asked because he hadn't been paying attention the whole time. "They're on the mission right now and they said we should stay here for the next two days, so until Sunday evening", he explained briefly and concisely whereupon Natsu had to suppress his grin. He had a whole weekend with Gray!! Well, and with Happy but he only stayed behind as an emotional support for Natsu anyway. Otherwise he would also have gone with Lucy and Erza because even if he was a boy he wasn't a human being. That's why the client would have allowed that.

"I'll go check the room", Gray said leaving Natsu in the hallway.

"... 204... 204... 204.... Ah there!", the ice mage, murmured finally finding the room where he would sleep tonight.

Upon entering the room didn't made a bad first impression. It had a big sofa, a small bar, even a fireplace and a one bed!  ... One bed!!!  Damn, there was only one bed! While it was large enough for an entire sports team, there was no way Gray would share a bed with that pyromaniac!! Though he didn't find the thought all that repulsive, he actually blushed a little. However, that was exactly why he didn't want it! As much as he would love to share a bed with Natsu, he knew his feelings couldn't be real, so under no circumstances would he pursue them! That would probably mean that he would have to sleep without this exorbitantly expensive, extremely comfortable and ultra-snug bed and sleep on the sofa... That's great...

Just as Gray was done examining the room and was about to leave, Natsu walked into the room having knocked on each room's door before because no one had given him their room number.  "Here are you! Is that our room?" "Who else's, idiot?! No you know, I just enjoy standing in strangers' rooms", Gray mocked Natsu although he immediately felt sorry. He didn't want to offend him, he wanted to compliment him and say he loved him. But he couldn't. Not until he knew what evil spell was causing his emotional chaos. Until then he was not allowed to attract attention and had to act as if nothing was wrong. "Why are you always insulting me? What have I done to you?!", the Salamander wanted to know, but his comrade didn't answer him and instead simply left the room. He simply couldn't have a sensible conversation at the moment, not with him. So he would just continue to avoid Natsu and it shouldn't be a problem until the evening, after all there were enough leisure activities to pursue here. Less than 5 minutes later Gray had already decided on one of them. He went bowling first because he just didn't feel like doing any of the other offers. He also could've gone to the nearby amusement park or to the sauna, but the second would probably let him melt. He didn't wanted to go to the swimming pool at the moment either and it was clearly still too early for the bar that belonged to the hotel, although there were still some sports activities but you had to be at least two people and since he didn't wanted to ask Natsu that wasn't an option either.

After the ice magician got bored at the bowling alley he decided to look around the area. It was actually a completely normal city like any other. There were a few shops here and there and a park nearby. So nothing extraordinary. He was making his way back walking through the park, when he spotted a wizard and his little blue companion in the distance. As if he didn't even know him Gray walked past Natsu without even glancing at him. "Hey Gray!  Where have you been the last few hours? I couldn't find you anywhere! G-gray?", the fire wizard tried to address his comrade but he just kept going.

After Gray was sure that Natsu and Happy had walked on, he rolled his eyes and turned around to the person he loved. Only this person apparently had the same thought and so their eyes met. They both immediately blushed and while Natsu stayed where he was, Gray just quickened his walk.  "... This cursed spell should finally lose its effect...", the dark-haired man grumbled and kicked a garbage can out of frustration. However, the garbage can was still there and his foot started to hurt... It was attached to the ground... great...

Gray avoided Natsu for the rest of the day and they only met again in the evening. That was when Natsu entered their room. The Fire Dragonslayer was getting ready to sleep when he noticed who was already lying in the huge bed. It was none other than Gray Fullbuster! He actually wanted to sleep on the sofa, but was so exhausted from boxing, one of the hotel's offers that he wanted to get rid of his frustration with, that he completely forgot about his plan. And because Natsu, unlike Gray, had no problem with sharing a bed and knew nothing of the other's worries, he lay down next to the sleeping one. Meanwhile Happy had prepared the sofa because he wanted to give his friends their privacy, after all he knew about the feelings of the salmon-haired one.
