Chapter 13

- Sehun's POV -

There's still a week before the school festival and everyone's busy with their practice. Since both my partner and Jeremy's partner are going to be absent that day, we ended up became partners.

We haven't even choose a song yet. I'm now here in the vocal room waiting for this always late Sung Jae. I heard the door creak open and I thought that's him so I said, "Yah! Why are you always so late? Can you just-"

I was cut off the moment I turn to the door. That is obviously not Sung Jae. It's So Eun. She look at me with her confused face. "Err, sorry. I thought you were Sung Jae." I said and stood up.
"Haha. It's ok. I thought Chen sunbae is here. I guess I'm wrong. Sorry." She said and bowed at me. "No. It's ok too." I smiled. Then there's a moment of silence between the two of us.

"Umm." I broke the silence. Luckily, she continued since I didn't know what to say. "Well, since I can't find Chen sunbae and Jeremy is not here yet, wanna eat some cake at the rooftop?" She offered and smiled.

I nodded and smiled back. We walk out of the room and went straight to the rooftop garden. At first, we were walking side by side but our hands keep bumping to each other. I guess she was uncomfortable so she walk ahead of me.

When we arrive at the garden, I was fascinated by the beautiful scenery from up here. She put the container on the table and asked me to sit. I took a slice of the cake and ate it. "You baked this?" I asked her. She nodded while eating the cake.

- So Eun's POV -

We're now at the rooftop eating the cake I baked this morning. I woke up early just to bake that and he's the first to eat it. It's my first attempt for baking a chocolate fruit cake and it's a success.

"Does it taste good? I baked it this morning and it's my first attempt in baking a chocolate fruit cake." I asked him and he nodded while taking another slice. I giggle a bit. "It's actually good for your first attempt. Am I the first one to taste?" I nodded and he smiled at me.

He's actually cute, I thought and smiled while looking at him. My phone vibrated so I look at it. It's from Chen sunbae.

From: Chen Chen

Where are you? Text me and I'll be there. :)

To: Cutie Partner

I smiled at the text and texted him at the rooftop and put my phone on the table. "Who was that?" He asked me. "Chen sunbae." I simply said and waited for sunbae to come. We talk about our homeworks and I taught him some questions he doesn't understand.

I heard the door creaked open so I turn around. There stood Chen sunbae and Jeremy. I smiled at them and gesture them to sit and join us. I let them taste the chocolate fruit cake. And as usual the response is the same, IT TASTE GOOD.

"Shall we practice now?" Chen sunbae said and I just nod. We both choose the song Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor and John Legend. It's a nice love song that'll melt my heart.

After both of us finished, I asked Jeremy and Sehun to sing theirs. "Well, actually we haven't even choose a song yet." Remy said and rub the back of his neck. "Embarrassed? Mehh. I'll help you guys." I said and smiled.

- Jeremy's POV -

She's such an angel. No one can resist her. She's currently browsing her phone for songs that suits us. Finally, she found a song. Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. It's an upbeat song. I hope we can do this.

We listened to the song first before proceeding to sing ourselves. We actually can do it from the first attempt. Chen sunbae and Eun gives us a big applause. "When you guys do sing this on stage, I'll be at the backstage supporting." So Eun said and smiled at us.

To be honest, even though many dream of being the boyfriend of So Eun, I never dreamed. Why? Because my heart belongs to someone else. Her best friend who is also my own best friend.

Back to the topic, I think Sehun actually has a crush on her. Why did I think like that? Because he's been looking at Eun since she sang til now. Should I ask or not? Hmm. I don't even know now.

"Yah! Jeremy to earth. Are you listening? You seemed spacing out." So Eun said while waving her hand in front of me. "Ahaha. Sorry I was just thinking of something." I replied her. Then, we talked a lot about ourselves.

So Eun is actually scared of bugs and insects. I didn't even know. I think I should know her more now.

- Third person's POV -

Classes are as usual that day. Until the end of the day. Krystal and the other two girls, specifically Victoria and Amber, are waiting for someone outside the school. They plan to give her a last warning before doing anything to her.

Min A must have saw them outside so she quickly went back in to accompany So Eun out. On her way to Eun's locker, she bumped to KyungSoo. "Where are you going? You look like there's something wrong." He said to her while helping her up.

"Krystal and two other girls are waiting for Eun outside." She replied him. His eyes were wide open and followed her to Eun's locker. When they reached there, she is not there. They thought she haven't come out from the toilet so they waited.

But actually she is already on her way out. KyungSoo's phone rang so he answer the call. "Mm Hyung?" He said. "Where are you? We're waiting for you out here. We're planning to go Eun's cake house. " Xiumin on the other line said.

"I'm waiting for her now." He simply answer his Hyung. "She just came out of the school." Xiumin said and by that, he panicked a little inside. "Hyung! Don't let her walk alone. Sasaeng fans are actually after her." He said and tried to be as calm as possible.

By that he hung up and started to tell Min A about So Eun. They quickly went out of the building and straight to the school gate. As soon as they got there, Xiumin is already there with the others.

"Hyung, where is she?" KyungSoo asked. "We were sure to follow her but we lost track." Xiumin replied him. "Sehun is actually not back yet. I guess he's off to find her." Lay said as calm as he can.

"Let's split up. " Jeremy came out of no one knows where and said that. They started to spilt up while Min A is asked to stay at the school gate just in case So Eun is back. She never argued to search for her but stay at school.

It's already 3:30 in the evening and there's still no word from Exo and So Eun herself. Min A's phone rang and she answer it. "Yes?" "Where are you guys? We've waited for so long." She actually panicked a little inside.
