Chapter 23

- KyungSoo's POV -

I ran to the open garden to search for her but I still can't find where she is. The bell already rang but I can't go in without knowing where she is. If Krystal ever lays a finger on her, I am so gonna ruin her life. I tried figuring other places Krystal can do anything to her but my mind is so messed up that I can't think straight.

"Sunbae-nim." Someone shouted which made me turn to my side. "Are you searching for So Eun eonni?" The girl said. "Yes. Did you see her anywhere?" I said, clenching my fist. "I passed the main building just now and heard someone shouting. I walked closer to look and saw eonni there. I wanted to help but I cannot." She said.

Without thinking twice, I quickly ran to the main building. Just then, Min A and Sung Jae came out from there. "Hyung, did you see her?" He said and looked at me. "No but someone said she's somewhere here." I said to them and just then, we heard a faint scream. "So Eun!" Min A said and ran to the direction of the scream.

When we arrived there, So Eun was on the floor with bruises and there was blood. "O-op-pa." Krystal said as the three of them step backwards. I quickly went to So Eun and tried to wake her up. "Call an ambulance!" I shouted and heard Min A dialing the number. "Hello? Can you..." She continued to explained. 

"What have you guys done?" I glared at the girls as they looked at me with fear in their eyes. "W-we were j-j-just trying to s-say some-something." Krystal said and came closer. "Don't even dare to come close. Say something you say? From what I see, you guys were trying to hit her 'til she dies!" Sung Jae shouted.

"What are you students-" A teacher suddenly came but stopped talking when he saw So Eun. "What happened?!" He said and went to So Eun's side. "Apparently, these three are trying to kill her." I said and their eyes widened. "The three of you, principal's office." He stood up and pointed at the three. "Now!" He shouted when none of them moved.

"Have you called the ambulance?" He said and bent down to help stop the bleeding. "Mm." Min A said and nodded. I looked at So Eun and saw how weak she was. There were a lot of wounds on her arms and also some cuts on her face. 

Stay strong, So Eun.

- So Eun's POV -

The last thing I remembered before passing out was hearing Krystal said oppa. I don't know which 'oppa' is she referring to but I am so going to thanked him. I opened my eyes slowly and saw the white ceiling above. I looked around and found out that I was in the hospital. The tube to the IV drip is connected on my hand and I can feel a bandage wrapped around my head.

Suddenly, the door slid opened. I looked and saw the doctor came in. "How are you feeling?" He asked while the nurse was checking on the IV drips. "Fine I guess." I said and try to sit up. "Don't sit up. You're still not in a good condition to sit up." The doctor said and helped me to lay back down. 

I looked at my side and took my phone. "This is Nurse Yoo. She will be checking on you from time to time." The doctor said and I smiled at her. "We'll be going now." The doctor said and smiled at me before going out with the nurse. I looked at my phone and saw a lot of messages. I pressed on them and saw they were from EXO and BTS. They asked if I was ok and hoping for me to get better faster.

Soon, the door slid opened again. I looked and saw both of my siblings together with Chansoo oppa. "Eun-ah, are you ok?" Jo Eun oppa said and came to my side. I only nodded and gave him a smile. Then, I tried to sit up again. "Andwae. Don't sit up, just keep laying. The doctor told us to make sure you don't move a lot yet." So Hyun eonni said and gently pushed me back.

"We heard what happened." Chansoo oppa said and continued, "Why did you even thought of going with them?" He scolded me. "Is this even a time to scold her?" Oppa said and looked at him. He only smiled and looked back at me. "You're ok right?" He patted my head.

I only nodded and smiled back. I'm glad they're not really scolding me for being so oblivious for not realizing they're faking their apologies. "The doctor said you're staying until the day after tomorrow so bear with it." Eonni said and sat on the sofa. 

Apparently, I was in a private room. "Isn't the fare for private rooms expensive? Why are we here?" I said and looked at Jo Eun oppa. "One of the members from EXO requested so." He said. "Ah." No wonder. My parents would never let me admit in a private room. "Oh. They said they're busy now so they might as well visit tomorrow before school starts." Oppa said.

Then, they stayed until the nurse said visiting hours ended. "We'll come again tomorrow." Oppa said and they waved at me. After they finally went out, the nurse came in again. "Do you feel dizzy?" She asked and checked my IV drip again. I only shook my head and looked at the nurse.

"You're so lucky to be friends with idols and have them care for you." She said while checking. "What's so lucky about it?" I said and looked at the other side. I'm not really happy about being friends with them. What's good about it though? I would just get bullied for being too close to them.

"You get to be with them the whole time. That's every fans dream you know." She said as she finished checking. "Get some sleep. Don't just looked at your phone. Don't hesitate to call me whenever you're not feeling ok." She smiled and turned off some of the lights before going out. I looked at my phone and saw a message from Kyung Soo sunbae. 

You alone? 

Mm hmm.

You ok now?

Yeah.

Don't seem so.

I'm fine.

I smiled looking at his text. He seemed sincerely worried about me though. 

What are you doing now?

Nothing much. Just laying on the bed and texting you, sunbae.

Mm. 

What about you, sunbae?

Taking a break after practicing.

Oh.

Then, there was no more reply. Well, I guess he continued his practice with his members. Just as I was about to keep my phone, it suddenly rang. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Taehyung. I hesitated to answer but did so. 

"Yeoboseyo? So Eun-ah." 

"Mm?"

"Are you ok? I heard from Baekhyun hyung."

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Just a few cuts here and there. Nothing much."

"Are you sure? We're on our way to meet you now."

"Ye. Visiting hours are over so you can't come up."

"Is that so? I guess we'll meet you tomorrow then if we got the time."

"O. I'm hanging up now."

"Oh, ok. You must feel tired. Get plenty of rest."

"Mm."

Then, I hung up. I still feel a bit awkward talking to him after rejecting him. I turned off my phone and kept it on the table beside me.
