Chapter 5

- D.O's POV -

Huh. Second day of school. Well at least there's music and dance classes today. It'll be fun, right? Ugh. I'm too lazy today.

We're now on our way to school. ChanYeol and BaekHyun won't stop laughing. I don't know what's so funny. "Oh,yeah! What's the her name again?" Tao asked. "Who? You mean the one who looks like an angel?" Lay answered.

"I know! She really looks-" "Her name is So Eun. Kim So Eun." I cut them off. "How did you know her? You're not even in the same class." Chen asked and I just shrugged my shoulders.

We got off the van and quickly went inside. The other van is not here yet so we just went to our class. I was about to turn left to my locker when I bumped to someone.

"Err. I'm sorry." She said. "No, it's ok. I'm sorry too." I said and help her pick up her books. I raised my head and saw So Eun. "Annyeong." She look at me with her suprised face.

"Ah~ Again. We bumped to each other." She laugh awkwardly. "Why are you here this early?" She asked. "Just chilling maybe." I said and handed her her books. "Wanna go to the garden?" She offered and I nodded.

When we arrive, the garden is so peaceful. It's a great place to release stress. Actually the garden is on top of the building. Basically, we can breath in fresh air.

I turned to my right and saw her breathing in the fresh air. She looks so pretty, I thought to myself. The wind is blowing her dark brown hair and she's there standing. She looks so angelic. (OMG I'm so bad at describing things)

- So Eun's POV -

This place is peaceful. I would come up here everyday before classes starts. I could see D.O staring at me and I don't mind. I put my bag on the table and took out a container.

"Sunbae, wanna have some cakes? I baked them." I offered and smiled. "Jinjja? Thank you. By the way, just call me KyungSoo." He smiled back. I like his heart-shaped lips. It's too beautiful.

I opened the container and revealed a strawberry cake. "You baked it?" He asked while taking a bite of the cake. I nodded, "My parents own a cake house. You should come sometimes."

He took a bite before saying, "Mmm~ It's delicious!" He smiled and I smiled back. There's still 10 minutes 'til classes starts. "Are you taking the music classes?" He asked, still eating the cake.

"Mmm hmm. So we'll be going to the same schedule today." I smile, "Let's go. I don't wanna be late. You can have all the cake if you want to,Sunb-, KyungSoo." He smiled back and we went down together.

- PRACTICE ROOM -

"Yah! Why are you guys together?" Min A asked. "We went to the garden this morning so yeah." KyungSoo said. We chatted with EXO and BTS while waiting for our vocal teacher.

We warmed up as soon as Mrs. Ahn, our vocal teacher, came in. "Ok. There are 28 of you including EXO and BTS. I will separate you all into 14 groups consist of 2 persons."

Then, Mrs. Ahn announce who's partnering with who. "Kim So Eun and Kim Jong Dae." As soon as my name got called, the other students growled. Someone raised their hand, "Teacher, don't you think it's unfair? A powerful singer with another powerful singer."

She ignored and continued, "Seo Min A and Byun Baek Hyun." Wow... Another powerful group. "You can take this time to choose your song now. I'll listen after recess." She continued.

"What song should we sing?" Chen asked while walking. Actually I suggested that we should go to the garden for a more peaceful place. And he agreed anyway.

When we're up there, I browse my phone for some songs. I'm trying to look for a song that suits the theme. Yup, there's a theme.

"You all will be doing a duet. The theme of the song is love. Whether it's a sad love song or a happy love song. You have to really feel the song you will be singing." That's what Mrs. Ahn said.

Hey! I somehow remembered a song. "What about lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat? It's a nice song." I said and smiled. "Nice." He smiled. "I'll be playing the guitar." I continued.

"You know how to play the guitar? I never knew." "You never asked." I stick out my tounge. We went back to the practice room to find no one's there. I took the guitar and strum the chords for the song.

We sang together. Fortunately, we were fast enough to harmonized together. We practiced the whole song until it was time for dance class. "Hey. Let's go before we're late." Chen said.

The dance room is just next door. How would we be late? Haha. When we arrive, the only one's there are us. Again. "Yah! Where's the others?" I asked. "Relax. There's still 5 more minutes."

Fine, I said. The door creaked open revealing Sehun. Alone. "Where's your partner?" Chen asked. "He wanted to go to the toilet." He simply replied.

Then, someone came in again. JungKook. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "Kookie, where's the others?" I asked. "Probably still practicing."

Soon, everyone came in and we started warming up. Then, we dance as always.

- RECESS -

- JungKook's POV -

Finally, recess. I know that Eun will be in front of her locker so I proposely walk pass her. Yeah, I call her Eun since calling her an angel is too much. And as expected, there she is, taking out her books.

I went near her and greeted her, "Annyeong, Eun-ah." She looked at me and chuckled. "Yah! So weird! Don't call me that!" "It's cute though." I replied with a smile.

"Yah! Hajima!" She said. Is she blushing? She's so cute. "Haha. Let's go eat. We need energy for singing later." I said and she nodded while closing her locker.

Sometimes, I'm curious about does she have a crush on one of us or maybe someone else? I wanted to ask but it'll make our friendship awkward. But curiosity kills.

"Kookie, do you have anything to say?" She asked. "Err..... I was wondering... Do you like..... Have any siblings?" Why can't I say it?! "I do have. An older brother and an older sister. My brother's name is Jo Eun and my sister is SoHyun."

"Oh...." "Why do you ask?" She asked again. "I was just curious." She nodded with my response.

Recess is over. So here we are, in the recording room. Mrs. Ahn said this duet will be live in the school and this is a test. So, everyone's nervous.

I think either So Eun and Chen sunbae or Min A and Beakhyun sunbae will win this. My partner is Xiumin sunbae. He has nice voice too. He can sing high notes.

Both of us are gonna sing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. It's a really nice song and we both like it. After our turn, it's So Eun's turn.

They are singing Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat. They sang it very well. They really express the song well. I wonder who will win today.

Lastly, it's Min A's turn. Both of them are singing Make You Feel My Love by Adele. It's originally sing by a girl but they're doing it for duet.

It's embarrassing if we make a mistake since this is live around the school. Finally, it's time to announce the winner. It'll be announce live too. The listeners around the school gets to vote even teachers.
