Chapter eight: Endeavour...

Kirishima runs quickly over to recovery girl's room and goes inside after knocking, seeing mr. Aizawa and shinsou. He tilts his head, but doesn't say anything and looks around quickly, before asking "Have you got any bandages or some sudocrem or something like that?"

Recovery girl pauses for a moment and gets up, then looks in the cabinets and shakes her head slightly "Ran out... why?"

Kirishima: "Can't say, gotta go."

He runs out of the door and up to his dorm, going inside and rummaging through his bathroom drawers, finding what he needed and some extra before running back down to recovery girl's office and leaving some bandages there before heading back to todoroki.

Recovery girl watches him in confusion "Why would a student just have bandages? Especially this many?"

Shinsou shrugs "You'd be surprised. I believe midoriya, bakugou, todoroki and kirishima all have collections of bandages, mainly because midoriya is accident prone and bakugou gets really mad and shoves them in his face. They just keep them incase anyone needs them, I hope.."

Mr. Aizawa: "...me too.."

Recovery girl sighs and says "....well then, let's hope you're right."

Kirishima runs into the room and closes the door, then goes over to todoroki and gently takes his arm, beginning to gently apply some soothing gel onto the area, letting that sit for a few minutes before wrapping the bandages around his arm and securing it with medical tape.

Todoroki: "....thanks.."

Kirishima nods and pulls his sleeve down, then carefully stands up, using the desk. Todoroki notices this and tilts his head "...are you hurt?"

Kirishima: "Hmm? No, no... I'm not hurt."

He sits down at his desk and looks at the time "...I best email mic.. tell him not to worry about your absence. Ok?"

Todoroki nods slightly as kirishima emails mic and then kiri turns to him and asks "Ok... do you want to talk me through what happened? Or.... would you rather talk about something else?"

Todoroki sighs slightly and says "....I was at home yesterday night because it was my oldest brother's birthday... his name was touya... he died. We celebrate it every year still... well, by 'we', I mean, me, my siblings and my mum. We all head down to the hospital to visit my mum and celebrate there.... but when we got home, endeavour started yelling about something to do with how annoyed he is with us for doing this every year and natsuo had to be called out as an emergency to his job. Fuyumi was sent out for groceries... it was only 6pm, so she went reluctantly...... that's when the argument escalated and this happened..."

Kirishima nods slightly and moves his chair (as it's on wheels) infront of his desk, then says "Ok.... and did you tell your siblings?"

Todoroki shakes his head "...I left to go back to UA before either of them got back..... and I never told them over phone.."

Kirishima nods slightly and sighs, then says "Ok.... todoroki, do you understand I have to tell a member of staff... not the whole story, just the general idea."

Todoroki nods and says "I know.... I understand.."

Smiling slightly, kirishima says "...good.. that's a big thing to admit to, ok? Even if I was already thinking it..... it's still not a easy thing to own up to. So well done for that, yeah..? Come here.."

Todoroki smiles slightly and accepts the hug from kiri, then he breaks it and kirishima asks "...was there anything else you wanted to get off your chest?"

For a moment, he thinks and then asks "...do you think..... a gay hero could be a thing..?"

Kirishima's eyes widen slightly, but his features soon soften and he says "Wait here. I have the perfect person for you to speak to about that."
