Chapter twenty: Suffering in silence

Kirishima slowly sits down, but dabi notices the hand on his stomach, however, he decides against saying anything.

Dabi: "Why're you here?"

Kirishima looks over and says "I may now know what you've been doing... and I thank you for it. However, for the past few weeks, I have been looking into pro hero endeavour and his family. I have... managed to get mrs. Todoroki out of the mental hospital, I have built a case against endeavour. But there is something that just doesn't quite add up.... having spoken to shoto todoroki, natsuo todoroki, fuyumi todoroki and rei todoroki, I finally managed to get some information on the oldest son. But what made me realise that all was not as it seemed was when hawks ran in one day, after todoroki, as in shoto todoroki, came to me with a burn on his arm and explained what had happened... hawks stepped forwards and confessed something that made me think.... touya todoroki was pronounced dead after having been involved in a seemingly deadly fire. But had he have survived, there would be scars to prove it.... blue eyes are something you haven't managed to hide.... dabi, you are touya todoroki, aren't you?"

Dabi seems slightly shocked that someone had actually managed to figure it out. But then the door opens and in walks mr. Kirishima. He ignores dabi and looks directly at his son, before pulling him to his feet and saying "Eijiro, I swear to god I will fucking murder you, where is it?!"

Kirishima: "What? Where is what? I don't-?"

Kiri's dad slams him against the wall "Don't bullshit me eijiro, where is it?!"

Dabi quickly stands up and pushes the male away from kirishima and says "Don't you fucking dare," but before he can do anything, mr. Aizawa runs into the room and sees kirishima being seemingly protected by dabi, who is standing defensively infront of kirishima.

Kiri's dad: "What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

Dabi: "You can't do that to your own fucking kid, I suggest you leave. Now."

Mr. Aizawa grits his teeth and takes out his scalf, pulling mr. Krishima towards him with it and taking him out of the room, but then hawks and bakugou run in and ask if he's ok.

Dabi only goes back to his seat and sits down, already trying to think of how kirishima managed to find out and wether he's ok or not.... he can't have his brother in law hurt....... shigaraki would kill him if he found out his little brother had been hurt and dabi didn't try and help.

Hawks looks over to dabi and smiles slightly "You know, if he's right, you're still the same person I remember you to have been.."

Kiri's mother comes back in and helps bakugou check him over, then she says "...it'll be ok, he doesn't live with us, he's just angry.. I'll sort it, ok?"

Kirishima: "Don't hurt yourself.."

She shakes her head and says "Never..." then hugs him and helps him to his feet, bakugou standing up as well. Then she looks over to dabi and smiles slightly, thanking him with her smile and then walking out of the room with hawks and bakugou leaves a few minutes later.

Kirishima sits back down in his chair and says "Sorry about that.... but.. are you?"

Dabi thinks for a moment, before replying with "How would you even prove it? I could say no and be lying or I could say yes and be lying."

Kirishima: "Well... you can tell me the truth or wait for the DNA results to come back, that works too."

Dabi smirks slightly "Ah, I see. Smart boy for such a youngster.... but first, is your stomach ok? I noticed you holding it."

Kirishima smiles slightly and nods, then says "Yeah... I think they're having a football match of some sort in there.." he smiles slightly and looks up "...twins, so.... quite lively.."
