BIKING at night is extremely scary. coming from a minor who's seen way too many scary movies.
i've never really been to lexy's house so i don't know where i'm going. jake said to meet up by the stop sign on junior's street, but he's not here.
i've been waiting outside, in the cold, for about five to eight minutes. it doesn't sound like a lot but i'm terrified.
juniors house is just about down the street so i could always just knock and see if jake's still at the house. but i don't know if i want to. i'm sort of scared to leave where i'm standing if i'm being honest.
a cool breeze brushes against my neck and i quickly jerk away with my bike. "it's too fucking cold for this shit." i mumble as i start biking towards junior's house.
once i arrive at his house i immediately regret what i'm doing. i'm not about to knock on junior's door asking for jake.
but without hesitation, the door opens. my eyes widen as i lock eyes with junior.
did he know i was standing there?
"uh- hi?" he mumbles, standing up straighter.
my face is bright red. thank fuck it's dark enough so he can't see how much i'm nervous i am.
"hi." i say in one quick breath.
"what are you- you're at my house. at twelve am." my face becomes even brighter and i can't think straight.
DID HE KNOW I WAS AT THE DOOR?
"I- uh- is jake here?"
i need to get out of this moment as fast as possible.
junior shakes his head, "he left about ten minutes ago. he was in a rush to leave, so i though he was looking for you."
i keep listening, "but he's been taking my girlfriend all day and she's been ignoring me."
yeah, she's been taking about doll's all day. don't think she'll want you in on that. i wouldn't want you in on that either.
