Chp 8 : Dil's First Birthday

Well guys I guess yesterday's chapter started on a slow start but that still won't stop me from writing. I'm going to continue writing until I feel like writing this is not worth it anymore. I feel this story has a lot of potential so I' I feel confinement in this story

Dan (POV)

Next week if finally Dil's birthday and we are so excited to give him an amazing first birthday plus were are planning on inviting Julie and Daisy that lesbian couple we met in the park. Dil has changed our world and made it so much better that we want to give him the best first birthday ever. Phil has already said he want to buy Dil either a strawberry or banana flavored cake. I think strawberry would be best and then we have to decorate it. And last presents that seem like good presents for a 1 year old.

"Dan have you finally decided on what flavor would be best and how we should decorate it" He says from the kitchen making Dinner for us tonight. I know how much this means to Phil so I know not to make him feel like I'm unsupportive of this.

"Yah, How about strawberries with different marvel characters on it. And why do we put Vanilla frosting to a yummy taste to mix with the strawberry" I think my Idea he is going to like as I say it.

"Sound's perfect now were are we gong to order it from" he says not worried to much in his voice

"why not that bakery near the comic book store or we can just make it and buys the characters and candle decorations for the cake"

"lets bake it so we can make it look the way we want and spend sometime together" when he says spend time together my heart going a thousand beats per second at the thought of spending more time with him.

"Now what presents should we buy him and how will we dress him" now making we think more things we need to do

"Lets buy him that dump truck for when we go to the park and some stuffed animals plus some others toy cars and maybe a talking Elmo"

"The Elmo is way to creepy I am not buying him that and neither are you" this is mostly because of all the stories I'm reading online about these cases of kidnapping with the Elmo.

"Fine but how should we dress him seeing it's December and snowing plus freezing"

"how about a grey beanie, a button of flannel, a pair of jeans and some red converse" I say thinking about how adorable he will look in his outfit.

"The plan is set now lets get everything ready for next week"

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dil's birthday day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was finally Dil's birthday and we thought about inviting Sprinkleofglitter, Casper Lee with his boyfriends Joe Sugg, Julie and Daisy with their daughter and both of our parents. Now Phil was making the cake which was almost done while I got stuck trying to wrap the presents as best as I can. My wrapping skills weren't bad they just weren't the best that's all plus it took me 2 minutes to wrap each present. Once we were done we gave Dil a bath, got him dressed and the party began with Julie and Daisy with their daughter entering first. Then came Casper and his boyfriend Joe and then Sprinkleofglitter and lastly our parents.

"hey where's Dil" julie said and when I was about to answer Phil enters yelling out "HERE'S THE BIRTHDAY BOY!" Only to make us both laugh softly at how excited Phil was that it was Dil's birthday.

The party started off with all the children playing together including both of our parents grandchildren from our siblings who weren't able to make it. While the kids were playing we talked about our future plans for a bigger apartment and then the question came up that made both me and Phil almost choke.

"are you guys planning on adopting another child" Both me and Phil look at each other knowing we only we were happy with just Dil

Phil sweetly answers "no, were happy with just one, and were planning on spoiling him through his whole life and provide him as much as he needs" this answers get the treat of a kiss from me and I kiss Phil on the lips for about a minute

After that question that caused both of us to almost choke we then go-over to the kids and say it's time for cake and we light the birthday candle's

"make a wish Dil and it might come true" we say in unison as we help Dil blow out his candles. People take pictures of this moment and we just all share laughs as we enjoy cake and feed his homemade cake that I'm surprised at how gourmet it taste.

"only the best for you love" Phil says to Dil as he eats his cake

Then come's present's and man their are a lot, i'm not joking like 17 presents and all range in different sizes and shapes. They range from toy balls, to trucks and cars, to action figures to books, to even one really expensive present a kid friendly tablet from our parents. All I can say is wow we weren't expecting this much bit it seems Dil was really happy and that's all that counts. Finally we the party is over we exchange our goodbyes. When they all leave Phil arranges all the cards and puts them in a special binder to remember all of his birthday cards for memories.

We then go to the couch and watch Despicable me with Dil in our arms as he watches it with us. After the movie we then put Dil in his crib as wish him goodnight. Then both me and Phil go to bed

"Thank you Dan for helping with Dil's birthday and for not saying anything mean, I love you so much and I will love you forever" Phil says that before falling asleep in my arms.

"I love you to and I would do anything for you guys I promise" I whisper before falling asleep also.

So guys wasn't that a nice birthday and a way to show how much they love each other. I now wondering if I should write a fanfic about Casper Lee and Joe Sugg also. Let me know in the comments. BYE
