"FUCK....Fuck......Fuckity fuck"
How on earth did she sleep through 10 alarms? That must be some type of record. Here she was sprinting to the other side of campus, trying to make her last class of the day. To add to the fire, she just HAD to stop for coffee. Why even go through all that trouble? She barely even liked coffee, and not to mention it makes us run to the bathroom like it's D day.
Instead of getting coffee, we should've tried to look somewhat decent today. Rather than looking like an actual put-together college student, she looked like an absolute crackhead. Her scrubs were all wrinkled, and her hair was put up in a messy ponytail. Bless the gods. She put on a matching pair of shoes.
Sweet relief washed over her when the building hosting her least favorite class came into view. Honestly, the class was fine; her teacher Mr.Salazar was a bit of a creep. He was always trying to hint something at every girl that walked through his door, thinking he was the sexiest man alive. Just so we're clear, he was far from it.
Being oblivious to people around her, she collided with a hard surface. Everything she was carrying went flying, as did her eight-dollar coffee.
"Mother of god! That fucking hurt." "Son of a bi...OW"
Not even bothering to look up, she's on her knees trying to get her shit together. Completely ignoring the tingly feeling in her wrist.
Mentally scolding herself for not paying attention and possibly burning the shit out of the person she body slammed.
"I am so freaking sorry! Shit!..... I would make it up to you, but I'm super late to class, and my professor is such a dick. If I run into you again, I promise to Venmo you for a new shirt or something......Sorry again!"
Shoving things in her backpack, she sprints inside the building without glancing at the unfortunate victim.
Unknown to her, the person who fell victim to her clumsiness felt a slight tingling sensation on his wrist. Mouth gaping open, he slowly rubs tiny circles on the mark.
"Hey, Peter! Are you okay? That looked like it hurt.....and burned."
His best friend Ned starts waving his hand, trying to get his attention.
"Peter..you good?"
Opening and closing his mouth, he couldn't find his voice. Shaking his head lightly to get out of whatever trance this stunning creature put over him, he dryly spits out
"I...I think I just met my soulmate."
Turning his head, Ned looks towards the building.
"Okaaaay.....What's her name?"
Peter gawks at his friend. Not even a second later, he throws his arms in the air angrily.
"I'm. So. Stupid!"
A small group stopped and looked at the weirdo, cussing up a storm. As Peter rambles on, something hits his foot. Immediately stopping, he looks down and sees a worn-out book. Confused, he picks it up and turns it over.
"HEY! That must be hers!........ Maybe she wrote her name on the cover. Most girls do that."
He could kiss his best friend. God, he hoped her name was written on the cover. Before he could see the name, his phone started ringing. Quickly pulling out his phone, he saw the name 'TONY STARK.'
"Mr. Stark? You're not gonna believe what's happ...Okay, I'll be there. BUT Mr.Stark, I found...Wait, Mr.Stark. DON'T HANG UP"
Shoving his phone into his pocket, he looked at his friend.
"I have a super important question to ask you."
Not missing a beat, Ned blurted out
"Yes, I'll be your best man."
Taken back, he shakes his head
"What? No man...Can you wait out here for her? Maybe give her my number or something?"
Before his friend could give his response, Peter was gone.
"Cause a random stranger walking up and giving a number to one of the avengers is normal."

Rounding the corner, she could see the classroom door. Breaking out into a full sprint, she stepped into the doorway, almost bumping into Mr.Salazar.
"Ms.Luna....how nice of you to finally join us."
Giving him a slight nod, she tried to step around him and get to her seat. She saw the corner of his mouth twitch, not caring; he gave her a quick up and down look and slowly stepped aside.
"Take your seat...And next time, don't be late, or there will be consequences."
Taking her seat next to her friend, she let out a sigh.
"What a fucking creep....cutting it a little close, aren't we Belles?"
Letting out a little laugh, she gives her friend Rose a 'fuck off' look. Finally letting her body relax, she felt a slight tingling feeling coming from her wrist. Leaning back in her chair, she tried to get rid of the strange feeling. Rose turned to look at her friend, staring off into space while fidgeting with her soulmate mark. It took her a couple of seconds before she let out a gasp.
"Did you meet your soulmate!?"
Gaining the attention of everyone in the class, she looked over at her friend, mortified. She thanked her lucky stars; no one heard her loud-mouth friend's words. It didn't take long before people went back to whatever they were doing.
"Could you be any louder, Rose?"
Waving off towards the class, Rose grabbed her friend's hand and pointed to one of her soul marks.
"Bitch....Why didn't you tell me you met one of your soulmates??"
Only a couple of people knew about her many soul marks. Don't be fooled by her demeanor. She has never been ashamed about how many soulmates she had out in the world, but some of the marks were covered by everyday wear. The only time people could see all of her markings as if she was at the beach.
She gave her long-time friend a sad smile, wanting nothing more than to confirm her friend's suspicions. She began to tell her about the crazy accident she had with some random person.
"I didn't...I wish you were right, but I probably just spilled coffee when I bumped into that guy."
Rose didn't want to push her any more than she did, but she had a deep feeling she had met one of her many lovers. She could feel it in her gut, and if it's one thing you should know about Rose, she was always right. It was a gift.
"Babe. I know how touchy you get with these conversations, but I think you did meet one. There's no way you'd be rubbing your skin like that if it was just a simple coffee burn.."
Was Rose right? Was the reason she was rubbing her mark because the guy she ran into was one of her soulmates? How stupid was she for not realizing it sooner! The bigger question was, how the fuck was she going to find him again?
"Ms. Luna, Ms.Ramirez, if you could so kindly stop your chatting, we can get on with the lesson plan."
Slumping down in her seat, she looked out the window and sent a silent prayer, practically begging to run into her soulmate again.
