Standing By You (SidNaaz❤)

Chapter 9

Days were passing with some taunts by Paramjeet and Kulwant but Shehnaaz was least bothered about them. She has found her serenity in Sidharth. He used to make her smile in any condition. She used to exercise full rights on him. For her he was the reason of her smile. For him she was the reason of his flushed face and goosebumps on his body with her innocence filled hugs. You may call it love but that is not what he feels for her for he doesn't know what exactly love is. If you go by the definition of movies you can call his feelings as love. He was sure that it will soon turn into true love and beyond. And when he will love her, he will explore that with her.

Talking about Shehnaaz who has just entered her teenage, she felt changes but there was none to make her understand it. Reet was herself shy apart from being busy. And other so called family members would hardly care for her. But the fact her instincts never made her feel something wrong or creepy with Sidharth was the reason that this sinful beauty would tease him unknowingly.

Love, a word easy to say and define, is difficult to handle. More stronger than love is the feeling which is beyond love. He is unaware of such strong feelings but has begun to feel something for her. This "something" will soon turn into "everything".

It was a Sunday afternoon when Sidharth and Shehnaaz were completing a group assignment.

Shehnaaz said, "Aap ruko ek minute. Mein dekh ke aati hun lunch ready hai kya." He nodded as he felt exhausted.
She came back saying, "Bass 15 minute mai khaana tayyar hai." Gurvinder came and pulled the chair on which she was about to sit. As a result of which she fell with a thud.
In a reflex action Sidharth grabbed his collar and slapped him hard saying "S*ale himaat kaise hui teri." He left him instantly and went to pull up Shehnaaz who was wincing in pain and tears falling from her eyes. He made her sit and gave a glass of water to drink. Paramjeet and Balwant came listening to the noises. Reet too joined them.

Seeing Gurvinder crying holding his cheek, Paramjeet ran to him and asked "Kya hua puttar. Ro kyu raha hai. Kisne maara tujhe." Balwant saw Shehnaaz was also crying but paid no heed to her and turned his attention to their waaris.

Sidharth said in a loud voice "Maine maara hai usse" and marching towards him continued "Abhi toh ek do aur rakhuga k*mine ke." Gurvinder recoiled thinking of the slap he received and hid behind his grandparents. "Saamne aa k*mine bohat himaat wala hai na." Reet interrupted "Kya hua hai Sidharth puttar. Itne gusse mai kyu hai?" Sidharth narrated the entire incident. On listening to Sidharth, Paramjeet bellowed at Shehnaaz "Itna kya naatak kar rahi hai. Ro toh aise rahi hai jaise tujhe chhat se utha ke phek dia ho." She was still unconcerned about her pain and plight.

"Toh aap kya chahti hai dadiji? Usse zyaada lagne ka wait kar rahi hai kya? Pehle hi kas ke do thappad lagane chahiye isko." he spoke agitatedly on her behalf. He was furious when he saw her family still defending Gurvinder over Shehnaaz. Paramjeet was about to defend her grandson but Sidharth left the hall holding Shehnaaz's hand.

Balwant and Paramjeet were tongue-tied and were consoling Gurvinder who felt insulted and was wailing.

Shehnaaz was wiping her tears which were falling due to the physical pain and was smiling because Sidharth made her feel loved and wanted again. He took her to his house to prevent any big fight with the Gills.

"Sidharth suno na." she mumbled softly to which she got no response. She tried to put a fake angry demeanor and again repeated his name while streching it "Sidhaaaarthhhh." This time he looked at her and asked "Kyu nahi bolti hai tu kuch bhi? Jaanti hai na galat hai vo log phir bhi." She was about to reply when he cut her in between very well knowing her answer "Shehnaaz don't start with vo bade hai and all. Pata hai mujhe ki vo bade hai but let me make it clear ki bade bhi galat ho sakte hai. Galti pe kisi ek age-group ka copyright nahi hai."

She looked down still wiping her tears. He came and sat beside her. He kept looking at her and side-hugged her. That was the point her hiccups turned into gut-wrenching sobs. He kept hugging her and patting her back. He didn't wanted her to go back to her house but couldn't stop her either. He wanted to keep her with him always and was determined that he will definitely do it in future.

NOTE : -  Sorry for being so late and for a short update. I am honestly not getting any time. Thanks for your precious comments and votes on previous chapters. Do tell me areas of improvement in my story and writing. Also, if you feel ki the treatment by family members to the female protagonist looks unreal and aisa kahin nahi hota hai...toh let me tell you AISA HOTA HAI. Sad but true, some people are still there who think very irrationally.
       Regarding new book I will start as soon as I am free from my Internship. Many have voted for 'Dil Ko Karaar Aaya' so I will start with that. And for those who voted for 'Arranged in 2000' dil chhota na karo that I will start after these two.☺️

Question : How did you like the jija-saala interaction? 😂 How did you feel when Sidharth said s*ale to his future saala?
