It has been a week since Shehnaaz changed her subject to Economics. She found the numericals difficult but Sidharth helped her at each step.
Gurvinder left after staying for 2 days and again tried to persuade Shehnaaz to keep some money with her. But she denied in a straightforward manner by saying, "Mujhe zarurat hui toh Sidharth se le lun gi par aapse nahi." This hurt him but he couldn't say anything as he earned it due to his own actions.
"Shehnaaz, will you please participate in rangoli making competition with me? They need minimum 2 participants in each group and my friend is participating in some other activity." A girl from her batch asked Shehnaaz who was sitting with Sidharth in the college garden.
"Mein...vo nahi..." Shehnaaz tried to deny but was cut by Sidharth, "She will participate. Don't worry. You give her name." The girl thanked them and left.
"Sidharth, yeh kya kia aapne? Mein kaise?" Shehnaaz asked Sidharth.
"Shehnaaz, you need to open up. And these activities conducted by the college are for freshers to show their talent and break hesitation. Explore yourself. This will make you confident na." Sidharth explained her.
"Mujhse achchhi rangoli nahi bani toh?" Shehnaaz asked like a small baby.
"Toh koi baat nahi. Just make sure you give your best and enjoy doing that act. Result ki chinta nahi karna. Jo bhi hoga accept it and try to improve yourself for the next time." Sidharth replied. "Vaise I have given our names for cooking competition also." Sidharth added.
"Vo toh mein kar lun gi." Shehnaaz replied excitedly as she loves cooking. To add to it, she will now explore various other things in college which she couldn't till now.
"Shehnaaz, do you wish to participate in debate competition? Mein toh chahta hun tu audience face kar aur apna stage fear nikal feke. But I won't force you. It is up to you." Sidharth questioned.
"Mujhe darr lagta hai stage par. Agar atak gayi toh sab hassegen." Shehnaaz spoke her fear.
"Sabse pehle toh yeh sochna chhod (छोड़) ki tu atak jaayegi ya bol nahi paayegi. Aur agar aisa ho toh bhi ghabrana nahi hai. Atleast you have tried unlike people who mock in the audience. Vaise bhi kisi aur pe apna kabu nahi hai aur zaruri bhi nahi na ki log tere par haase. Kya pata you will have a supportive audience. Haina? You will learn gradually. Ekdum se koi perfect nahi banta, infact jis se hum sabse perfect bhi maante hai na uss mai bhi koi na koi flaw toh hota hi hai." Sidharth explained.
"Theek hai. Bass promise karo aap meri help karoge." Shehnaaz requested.
"Yeh bhi koi bolne wali baat hai. Pagal. I will definitely." Sidharth assured her.
The days went by with them practicing for the activities they have participated. Sidharth helped Shehnaaz a lot with the speech, from writing to speaking.

It was the day of the competition for the freshers. The college auditorium looked like a busy market with seniors looking after the management and freshers doing the last moment preparations.
Sidharth was sitting with Shehnaaz who looked tensed and fidgeting the dupatta of her orange suit.
