𝙄𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀'𝙎 𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝙊 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 𝘼𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙏 𝘼𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙊 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝘿𝙀𝙍, it's that he hated his name ━━━ in fact he loathed it. But it's an honor to be named after a literal greek god ❪ think again! ❫. Ollie had grown accustomed to the snide comments from his superiors and his peers ━━━ "He sure doesn't live up to the name!"

In all honesty, Ollie understood. He wasn't everyone's first choice for dodge ball teams, but that didn't help the 'you suck, Ollie' comments go down easier.

The end of the world came as a shock to everyone ❪ except Ollie! ❫. Karma was a bitch and she could hold a grudge like a scorned lover. So it wasn't much of a surprise when the dead began to rise.

If there was one person who didn't deserve the end of the world, it was Cassandra Lewis. The girl had a smile as bright as the sun and ocean kissed eyes that Ollie was sure he could stare into forever. And for a popular high schooler, she didn't have a mean bone in her body. Cassandra never had a cruel word to say to anyone.

To be honest, Ollie didn't mind when the world went to shit. It was quiet and the walking dead couldn't tell him what a disappointment he was. He didn't mind them much ❪ except when they were trying to sink their teeth into his flesh! ❫ that was a deal breaker.

But about ninety-six percent of the population was gone and it gave Ollie the opportunity to do pretty much whatever he wanted ❪ while dodging and hiding in closest when a hoard passed by ❫. Ollie wasn't really a fighter ━━━━ he tended to freeze up when faced with imminent danger. Which wasn't the best trait for surviving the zombie apocalypse, but he made it this far and he liked to think of that as an accomplishment.

The lack of people gave Ollie sense of peace. For the first time since the beginning of time, the world was quiet. So quiet that Ollie's thoughts were no longer thoughts. Some might call him crazy for talking to himself, but it gave him comfort.
