Chapter 1

"Honey have you finished packing!" yelled Maria, "Mami I'm almost done!" Natalia yelled back.

Today was finally the day Natalia left her crazy family to emerge herself into the college life. She's been waiting all her life to have her own place and her own privacy, away from her brothers, yes she loves them but they're just so loud and immature. Natalia has 2 brothers, Julian (15) and Santi (13), who annoy the living fuck out of her, so she's glad she's finally leaving them behind. Her parents, Rafael and Maria are Natalia's big supporters, since she was young they did everything together, they put her in the best private school in the area, and made sure they protected her at all costs. Today they are extremely emotional, having to see their little girl all grown up and ready to go out into the world, this fact puts tears in their eyes.

"Julian! Santi! Come down!" called Rafael, "UGH! OK!" Screamed Santi.

Rafael brought everyone together in the living room, to say one more prayer as a family, holding hands, he begun. "Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for giving Natalia the strength and power to allow her to get into a great college, all thanks to her smart and good-looking father", Maria opened her eyes and rolled them at Rafael. "Just kidding, all thanks to you God, in your name, amen". "Amen" everyone repeated.
"All right everybody group hug!!" said Maria, everybody gathered together and gave each other a long and memorable hug.
Natalia was so ready to face the world, yes she thought this hug was lovely, but she didn't want to wait anymore.

"Ok guys let's wrap it up" said Natalia, "yeah guys, Natalia is just waiting to put her lips on random frat boys" laughed Julian. Natalia gave Julian a disgusted look, she's never kissed a boy, she almost got the chance but it never happened. Maybe this year it will finally happen, maybe she'll finally get her first boyfriend.

Natalia chuckles to herself, knowing nobody would want her, she has long brown curly hair, freckles, and big brown eyes. 5 foot 2, with rounded curves and a striking ass, she's put-together and stunning, but she holds insecurity about herself, she thought the reason nobody wanted her was because of her looks, her family and friends constantly reminded her on how gorgeous she is, yet she can't stand to believe the fact.

It was a long and quiet car ride with her family, she was surprised Julian or Santi weren't saying any inappropriate jokes, or that her mom wasn't screaming to the top of her lungs a new song she discovered. It was silent, awkward and silent. "So... mami! What are you going to do with my room, new storage space, possible yoga room, a new-", "Natalia please, no more talking" Maria cuts her off. Natalia glimpses over at the side view mirror and saw her mom crying, crying a whole river. She didn't want to bring it up because she knew that if she asked what was wrong, her mom would lose it.

2 hours later...

"Natalia! Wake up, we made it" vocalized Maria, Natalia fell asleep due to the lack of noice in the car, she proceeds to open her eyes and straight away saw the beautiful campus of NYU, all her hopes and dreams, everything she's worked for is right in front of her. Natalia got out of the car, she was a bit hesitant saying goodbye to her parents for the last time.
"Ok hija, it's time" stuttered Rafael, tears began to form in his eyes, Maria immediately got emotional when she saw her husband tear up. "Goodbye mami and papi", Natalia ran into their arms, giving them one last squeeze. "Have fun big sis" Julian mentioned, Natalia noticed his eyes puffy with a tear running down his cheek. "I'll miss you" Santi brought up.

"I love you guys, see you soon" cried Natalia
