A/N: Above is a picture of Abby's prom dress.
Abby exhales deeply when Tia grabbed her crutches from beside her in the backseat and climbed out of the car, offering them to her sister.
Abby shoots her a grateful look at this, using the crutches to climb out of her aunt's car and being careful not to place too much pressure on her cast.
She breathes in the sight of her family home and smiles at the sight of it.
"It's good to be back home" she comments as her sister smiles at this, happy that Abby is happy to be back, especially after what Abby said when she left Forks.
"And we're glad that you're home" Viv says to her niece with a tender smile before Abby started to make her way to the front door.
"Mei wanted to have a big surprise party for you as a welcome back from hospital gesture but I talked her out of it" Tia reveals to her sister, "I know that the last thing you'd possibly want after coming from the hospital is to deal with a million people" she adds.
"Thank sis" Abby says to her baby sister.

Mei came to see Abby now that she was out of the hospital and she'd talked her best friend's ear off.
Abby was grateful that Mei didn't really ask much about WHY Abby left but unfortunately Tia told her (before her phone 'disappeared') that it was because of an argument with Edward so now Tia AND Mei didn't like him anymore.
All the more incentive for him to work harder to regain their broken trust in him, she supposes.
Abby isn't sure how Viv feels about him yet but she's sure that she isn't thrilled with the idea of him and Abby at the moment.

Abby sat on her bed, her foot elevated as she wrote her schoolwork with the laptop in her lap as Edward flashed into her room.
"Hi" he greets her sheepishly when his eyes land on her cast.
"Hi" Abby replies with a smile as she pats the space beside her, gesturing for him to sit next to her. "I've missed you" she says to him.
"You can't miss me like I miss you" he says, trying to joke and lighten the air.
His guilt for her getting hurt because of being with him still weighed heavy on his shoulders and he doesn't think that it'll ever go away.
"Oh yeah, wanna bet?" Abby teases him back.
"What are you working on?" Edward asks her, offering a small grin at her playful challenge.
"Just the Government assignment that was due last week" she admits, "I got a week extension" she adds.
"You should have asked me to do it for you, love" he adds.
"I can't have you write my homework for me" Abby says amusedly, "our academic vernacular is probably totally different" she adds. "You probably get straight As" she says.
"Being alive for over a hundred years does have some advantages and benefits" he teases as Abby snorts at this.
"Totally unfair by the way" she teases, nudging him a little as he chuckles softly at this.
"Let me help you" he says, "I don't have to do the work for you but I can help you with it, surely?"
"I guess I can allow that" Abby says as she showed him the assignment and what it required from her.
