That day...
"Give me back my pillow, right now!" Geno demanded. Error reluctantly threw the pillow on Geno's front, causing the other to frown. "So how about this camp?"
"Uh...right, the mandatory shit." Error replied, now sitting back down.
Fresh also sat down, "It's like an overnight in da forest except it not an overnight, am I right?" He looked at the both of them only to see brows raised in confusion.
"Fresh, I know how it works." Geno gave a soft laugh. "If it's mandatory, why didn't you go?" Asked Geno.
"You don't expect me to answer that, do you?"
Geno sighed in worry. "Am I being a burden?" He asked, gripping onto the sheets to pull it closer.
Error tsked before breaking eye contact. "Don't say that." He spoke, almost as if it was a mumble since he was too embarrassed to say it. It was surprising for his two brothers to hear, knowing that he always acted like they never existed in the first place. "He told me–"
"It's amazing how you follow everything he says." Geno interrupted while grinning.
"You don't even know who I'm talking about."
"It's Ink. Obviously." Geno grinned.
"We talked about this, literally yesterday and the other day." Error crossed his arms. "And the other day and the other day."
"And I've been thinking..." Geno gave a suspicious smile, however it was nowhere being a smirk for his intentions were for Error's sake.
"You know, it's actually bad when you start to think." Error commented, causing Geno to Cross his arms despite his aching body.
"Look, I know it's tiring to stay by my side every second–" Geno got cut off when he noticed his brother fixing his posture and paying more attention to what he was about to say. "Seriously? Have you been waiting for me to say this?"
"Don't take it personally." Error half joked.
The other sighed. "I feel a lot better in this hospital, as you all can tell."
"You were literally brought to the ER this morning."
"They did some scans so I feel more refreshed." Geno explained.
"Wait, that's not how it works-"
"Can I please just finish my statement, Fresh?" Geno stared at Fresh aggressively, begging him to not bring it up. The other imitated a zipper with his mouth and slid his fingers across.
"Highschool is such a crazy place and it would be disappointing if you missed one of the main highlights of that particular school, since you have your magic now." Geno started, giving him a smile. "It seems selfish to be holding you back, considering that I never got any magic. So I want you to have fun, and I'm letting you leave this room without Momma knowing."
"Are you serious?" Error questioned in disbelief. "What about you?"
"Look I–I just wanna make it up to you. Ever since Dad..."
"I appreciate your thoughtfulness can we not bring this up." Error tried to speak in the nicest way possible as the topic might start to affect him negatively again.
Geno gave a sad smile, Error was obviously still not over it but he's hoping that in time, he'll be able to open up to someone and express his feelings. "Reaper told me that a campus would be behind by a day so I think you can still catch up."
Error didn't know what to say, it was exhausting to say thank you to Ink and now he's gonna have to say it again. He was clearing his throat repeatedly to see if he could get the right tone when thanking. Geno already noticed him and laughed softly.
"You don't have to force yourself to thank me. I get it." Geno laughed softly.
Error gave an embarassing grin and rubbed the back of his skull.
