"So...You planning to apologize?" Said Fell as he opened the large fridge to find nothing but empty bottles and cans of Cola. He checked every shelf, hoping that bowls of food would magically appear in front of him, sadly, nothing happened. "Tsch, not even a single strand of noodle." He mumbled in slight irritation.
"Not a bad idea but would make no sense in any way." Error replied, opening the top cabinets of the kitchen one by one to look for leftover biscuits and chips. To his disappointment, he found nothing. "Where the hell did they go!?" He reluctantly closed the wooden cabinets while Fell continued to stare hopelessly at the inside of the empty fridge. Error took a deep breath and blew a raspberry while crossing his arms with his back leaned on the counter. "McDonald's sounds nice tonight, doesn't it?" Fell chuckled, carefully closing the fridge and turning to Error. "You treat me this time." Error raised both his brows repeatedly. "Dude, you literally own Mcdonald's, why are you making this complicated!?" Fell exclaimed. "Something related to...being 'fair'."
Fell groaned and rolled his eyes. "Fine fine, let's get moving."
They both left the house without hesitating to change their clothing due to their starvation. It was an 'okay' Tuesday, classes ended few hours ago before they felt the extreme hunger they've been struggling with. The sun was setting slowly, beautiful shades of Red, Orange, Yellow and Purple filled the sky, the wind started to blow cold air, and the atmosphere was relaxing for the both, despite their case of hungering. As they stroll on the streets, Error's mind started to wander off. Why did I agree to that? He doesn't even appreciate me anymore, what's the point? Why do I still care? Why do I have to do it? He kept repeating the same questions to his mind, trying to find the answer. Fell glanced at Error, drowning in his thoughts as he could tell. He assumed that he was thinking about Blue, he can't tell what exactly is in his mind, but he was sure it started with a 'why'. Error continued to drown in his thoughts, he felt useless, that everything he does doesn't work or help in any way. "Hey Error..." Fell called to him. Error didn't respond, his mind blocking the sounds from his surrounding and only focusing on his thoughts. "Hey Error." Fell slightly raised his voice, hoping he'd grab his attention, but still he stood distracted and not replying. "ERROR!" Fell hollered. Error snapped out of his thoughts, he turned his head to Fell. "Finally." Fell spoke in relief, "I can't pay your hospital expenses if you drown.". Error hummed in acknowledgement and turned his head back front.
"What's bugging you?" Fell asked.
"Stuff..." Error reluctantly replied, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"You do know what happens when you don't answer me properly?" Fell crossed his arms. Error sighed in defeat, "You know this." He replied.
Fell nodded to himself.
"Do you think it's...stupid?" Error asked, the idea of the plan crossed his mind carelessly.
"The what?"
"The plan."
"Well, I don't even think you've properly started it yet since you kept on arguing with him," Fell started.
"Have I?" Error mumbled.
"Though, I don't find the plan 'stupid', first of all, you have a valid reason. Second, you live for that reason, and third...you'll regret the very day you declined the opportunity if you don't do anything. Cancer." Fell continued, he found it convincing himself, but he doesn't know how it sounded to his bestfriend. "So...?"
"But, what's the point? Ink's probably talking shit about me to Blue by now." Error wasn't fully convinced, his problem wasn't really the stupidity of the plan to begin with.
"I doubt that. I mean, he doesn't seem to be the type to share unimportant details about his contacted people. Remember the thing the other day?" Fell answered. One heavy rock left Error's back, he was convinced that Ink wasn't that type of person. "Why does it matter though? Why am I doing it? What is this strong feeling?" He asked Fell and himself once more. Fell gazed at Error and kept silent for a few seconds. He started to walk on a slower pace, Error following his movement.
