Chapter 6 - Captain's Quarters, The Origin of the Curse and Poisoned Apples

*Will's POV*
Once Juliet had calmed down she had fallen asleep while leaning on me as we sat on 2 barrels full of god knows what. It really did surprise me what she said happened to her, I didn't expect her to have witness all the terrors and ghastly times she said she had. I gave her sympathy. It cleaned up some parts of her I was unsure of, such as why her anger had gotten so bad throughout the time I met her.

"William!" I heard Jack shout carrying two bottles of unopened rum in hands, "Shush!" I said in a hushed voice as he looked at Juliet. "My apologies, I had no idea. However I cannot let her stay out here for the rest of the night," he spoke "carry her to my quarters, place her in my bed and make sure she's comfortable; after that, you can go about your own business until tomorrow morning." I nodded, picked her up and did as directed.

"Jack, its bad luck to have a woman onboard." I heard Mr. Gibbs say to Jack, "aye, but Juliet is no ordinary woman. She can probably beat you to a duel - with a little more practice of course. Besides, Will could only teach her what he knew. I think its time to welcome them into the world of piracy." I did not want to be a pirate nor will I ever, I would rather die than be a pirate.

After putting Juliet into Jack's cabin I made my way to back where I was sat before, on a barrel. "Alright son?" I heard Jack come over and ask, I sighed, "yeah. I guess I'm just exhausted from the new things going on." "Ahh, you'll soon get used to pirating Will." He said before walking away into his cabin. I shook my head in annoyance and headed down under deck. I am not and will never ever be a pirate.

*Jack's POV*
Now I know you'll think its very peculiar and suspicious that I asked Will to bring Juliet to my cabin but I know her, and I don't mean that I know her because I met her a couple of nights ago - no. I mean I used to care for her when her brother abandoned her and their father, leaving her very busy father in care of a baby. So, before I was who I am now I used to help Mr Nickel raise up Juliet when I was 5 up to 10, when Mr Nickel was able to take care of her. I used to help her fall asleep by singing a lullaby, Jolly Sailor Bold it was. Yes, I was the one singing when Juliet was falling asleep the other night.

I must admit that I'm a little disappointed that Juliet doesn't recognize me but I'm not surprised, not many people remember the times when they were 7 and younger - I sure know that I can't. I'm just glad she remembers the lullaby, it really made me happy when she was singing it.

Walking into my cabin I smiled as I saw her sleeping on my bed, tears staining her cheeks. She must have had a rough past after I was around to treat that man like that. However I'm glad Juliet threatened him because if he killed his own wife, he was - no - he is a savage. A monster. How could he murder his wife leaving his two children as orphans when he was being sent away.

Shaking my head I sighed at the thoughts and walked over to the bed, grabbing two pillows I then walked over to the chair next to the desk and sat down, getting as comfortable as I could since I would be sleeping here for the night. Yes I know my bed is a double bed but when Juliet wakes up she's going to be a little suspicious as the female type would be.

As I was slowly drifting off due to the steady rocking of the sea on the Interceptor I kept thinking back to when I was 12, out on the sea venturing off into the new world and thinking that I would no doubt be a cold hearted, uncaring pirate when I was older. And look at me now, I'm sleeping in a chair because I gave my bed up to Juliet.

*Third Person POV*
As the night grew old the cursed crew of the Black Pearl were busy at work, Elizabeth happened to be hiding in a cabin not daring to come out in case something bad happened. "You'll be dinin' with the captain. And he requests you wear this." Pintel spoke to her holding out a beautiful dress for Elizabeth. The dress was a dark wine red with puff sleeves, and a soft feel to it. It was indeed gorgeous, a fine dress.
