Chapter 18 - The Epic Battle

*Juliet's POV*

It was nearly time to settle this once and for all and I was sitting down near Barbossa away from the moonlight but not close enough for him to attack me if he planned to. Jack was looking at the gold scattered around, he picked up what looked to be almost like a Buddha statue but yet it wasn't. Will was being held by the pirate I now knew as Bo'sun, I glanced at Will and gave him 'the look'. The two other pirates, Twig and Jacoby I learnt the names of were hanging around. Twig was skimming stones on the water's surface while Jacoby (the pirate me and Will had killed twice at Port Royal) was standing near Barbossa admiring the treasure.

"I must admit, Jack," Barbossa said lazily lying on his gold, "I thought I had ye figured. But it turns out that you're a hard man to predict." "Me?" Jack said, walking over to us and threw the statue away, "I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for," he glanced at me and I saw in his eyes the 'ready?' look I nodded as he walked closer to Twig. "Because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid." He suddenly stole Twigs sword and kicked him into the water, I stood up quickly unsheathed my sword and went to attack Barbossa giving him the time to realize that he had been lied to as Jack did his part.

"How does it feel to be double crossed, Captain?" I laughed blocked his attacks. I had been trained by Jack when we were on the Interceptor, improving my skills so when the time was right I could stand a chance at winning. Jack sooned joined the fight as it was two against one in the epic battle.

Five minutes into the battle Barbossa threw me into a pile of gold as he blocked Jack's attack, "you're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters." He said with venom in his words as he threw Jack away and went to attack me, luckily I rolled out of the way in time and ran towards Jack as I heard Barbossa laugh chasing us.

*Elizabeth's POV*

I finally made it to the Pearl and climbed up onto the deck. Like Juliet promised there were two pirates onboard but they were under the deck so I was okay as long as I keep quiet.

Barbossa's bloody monkey nearly gave me a heart attack screeching at me, but it didn't scare me instead I gave it the cold stare instantly silence it making it appear guilty. Whacking it, I threw it overboard but it landed on a cannon right outside where the pirates were. Sliding off and into the water I saw the skeleton pirates stick their head out and look for what happened. Now's my time to hide.

I ran under the deck to the brig but I heard the pirates come so I quickly hid behind a couple of barrels that were near me, when the coast was clear I continued running down to the brig.

"Shh!" I heard a voice saw from the brig as I ran down the stairs. "It's Elizabeth!" I looked up and there were the good pirates. I run up the the cell and pulled out the keys Juliet gave me and unlocked the cell. "Where did you get those?" Mr. Gibbs asked, "Juliet. I don't know how she got them." I replied as they swarmed out. "We need to get rid of those two pirates on deck though, follow me." I said making my way back up.

The two pirates were looking over the railing, unaware of our presents which made me smile. I pulled the long boat with the crew and swung it at the pirates killing them and sending their skeleton parts overboard. "All of you with me. Will is in that cave and we must save him. Ready? And heave!" I felt the full weight of the boat as I turned around and see that the crew were just standing there. "Please, I need your help! Come on!" "Any port in the storm." Cotton's parrot spoke, "Cotton's right, we've got the Pearl." Mr. Gibbs said speaking for the crew. "And what about Jack, you're just going to leave him?" I asked, they couldn't leave their captain again. "Jack owes us a ship." Marty said, "and there's the code to consider." Mr. Gibbs agreed. "The code?" This has to be some kind of joke. "You're pirates. Hang the code, and hang the rules! They're more like guidelines anyway." I was getting no where with this so I lowered the boat myself and rowed to shore. "Bloody pirates."
