----------

Percy didn't think about that kiss too much, he was focused on more important things like opening the chamber of secrets which holds a spirit that grants you one wish. It all seemed a little bit genie in a bottle kind of thing, but he didn't care, he just wanted to see his friends back in camp especially Annabeth, gods he missed Annabeth.

Percy also had a plan. A good one. He waited until Wednesday, when everyone was asleep. He sneaked out and went to the second-floor girls' bathroom. He looked for the snake engraved sink tap and said hi to Myrtle the ghost.

"Open" he said in Parseltongue, the sink turned over and opened to reveal a passage. He jumped over and landed on a corridor as the sink closed again. It was dark and something smelled rotten, he walked for more than ten minutes with nothing but the sound of his shoes hitting the wet ground. The place reminded him of the labyrinth a lot. He turned right one last time until he found a box sat on the floor.

"Percy Jackson what do you think you're doing?"

He didn't have to turn back to know who was there. He recognized the voice; he hated that voice.

"Don't you dare open that box" Hecate said.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Because I said so"

He was so close, after two months of pure misery, he was so close. "Yeah I don't care"

Hecate's eyes glowed as she walked near Percy.

"It's not going to work."

"What?"

"The thing you want to wish for, it will not work. Annabeth is busy anyway she's not worried about you if that's what you're thinking. I took the liberty to order Chiron to tell everyone at camp that you were taking a little trip you know, to relax and unwind after the war and stuff. They took it relatively well, some were angry but c'est la vie."

"What do you mean Annabeth is busy?" he asked, ignoring the other things she said.

Hecate giggled and walked in circles again.

"My girl Aphrodite talks a lot if you know what I mean...she can't keep a secret for more than an hour" she smirked.

"No. I don't know what you mean."

"It's easier if I just show you, this might hurt" and with the flick of her hand Percy's eyes went black, he couldn't feel his body anymore, but he felt a sharp pain going through. He tried to talk or move but he couldn't. His vision turned from black to blue as the sky appeared. He looked down, his body wasn't there but he recognized the place where he was, camp half-blood. Some campers that stayed all year long walk through him. Through him. literally. It was like he was invisible. He saw Annabeth trying to rebuild something, but he wasn't sure what it was, he tried to call her name but he couldn't feel his mouth, his tongue, or any other body parts for that matter.

Suddenly Annabeth stood up and walked to the Apollo cabin, Percy coudnt move but when he wanted to follow Annabeth his vision followed. He noticed that the Apollo cabin were in the archery practicing, why would Annabeth go in here?

She entered the cabin and Mike Greengrass, son of Apollo was standing there waiting for her.

"You're late" He said.

"I'm not late, you're early" she said as she walked towards him.

"Well can you blame me? I was beginning to miss you."
