From paradise back to reality
In the comfort of Minho's arms and his blanket, Jisung woke up.
As befitted spring, too many birds began chirping outside, announcing that the new day had dawned. Warm light shone into the room through the beige curtains. Jisung felt the sun's rays on his skin. He opened his eyes just wide enough to peer across the room through his eyelashes.
To see Minho. Who lay barely an inch away from him. The sun made his face glow a warm orange and Jisung could count the tiny hairs on his face. His eyebrows were relaxed on his forehead as if someone had painted them there. So did the single mole on his nose. Jisung smiled and closed his eyes again.
Just for this one moment, he allowed himself to block out everything outside the other's embrace. He was safe here. Warm and loved... Jisung opened his eyes again. Was he loved here?
His eyes met Minho's. Who was beginning to blink. " Morning," he hummed. Sleep hung in his voice. He brought his arms to him and began to stretch until his limbs trembled slightly. With a sigh, he slumped back into his mattress. " Slept well?" He asked through a yawn.
Jisung nodded and rubbed his eye. "I did, I'm kind of exhausted though." He pressed back into the pillow. Taking deep breaths, the smell of Minho reached his lungs. It filled his whole body and lulled him back to sleep.
"Jisung..." Minho poked his side, but he didn't move. "You have work to do today..." Minho moved closer to him. "So get up." He pressed his nose against his neck.
"Minhoooo don't do that." Jisung giggled. The other shook his head. His hair left a tickling sensation on his skin.
"Fine, I'll get up." Reluctantly, Jisung picked himself out of the covers. He swung both legs out of bed, his feet hovering above the floor. "I can keep the clothes, right?" he asked while lolling.

The morning passed, not particularly eventful. The two toddled downstairs to the kitchen. The three hungry cats welcomed them in front of the bedroom and accompanied them downstairs with quiet mews. While Jisung (with Minho's guidance) made food for the cats, the latter prepared toasted sandwiches. Minho told Jisung about his work today, where he had to go. Along the way, he complained that he was only half reimbursed for his gas money and that the stereo in his car was of very poor quality.
Jisung listened attentively. He sat on one of the four kitchen chairs, knees drawn up against the tabletop.

Together they went back upstairs to the bedroom. "You know, you could watch TV downstairs or something..." Minho said, head tucked into his closet.
"Watching you is more interesting." Jisung replied. Maybe that was a lie. He was lying on the bed again, the white blanket puffed out on both sides.
Minho, without much shyness, changed in front of him. Changed the sweatpants to dark blue suit pants.
"Black or white?" He held two T-shirts in front of his (naked) top. Jisung looked back and forth between the three for a while. (White t-shirt, Black t-shirt, Minhos torso). "Take white."
