Healthy communication

Forget everything that was said in the previous chapter about weekends. Because one phone call is all it takes for everything to get stressful. "Do you have time to watch Miri when we go on a little trip?" Funny. Really funny.

Dejectedly, Jisung sat on the Han family rug and got knighted for the fiftieth time. "I'll knight you." The wooden spoon hit Jisung's right shoulder with all the girl's strength.

"I'll make you an honorary knight." It hit his left shoulder. Jisung had to suppress cursing because damn a spoon like that hurts.

"I'll make you a babysitter." And then Miri hit him on the head. "Ouch!" Why is this kid like that? Jisung held his aching forehead and mumbled to himself.

"Miri, you don't do that!" Minho's stern voice came from the kitchen. The girl flinched and dropped her dragon stuffed animal. "But Jisong is babysitting." She pouted. Thank God that didn't work with the Man. "Me too, you don't hit me either do you?" At that, she quickly shook her head and ran to him to attach herself to his leg.

"Minho is so cool!" It was like she was seeing a comic-action figure in front of her as she looked up at Minho. Jisung couldn't judge that. Actually, Minho was an action figure. Maybe not Superman, but close.

"Do you want to help me cook?" And after she loudly agreed, Minho lifted her up on his arm and disappeared into the kitchen with her. The smell of goulash floated through the house. Jisung laid on the couch, mentally helping, and stared into space.

It took far too long for Miri to eat, for them to clean up the mess afterward, to watch several Disney movies, until she finally fell asleep on Minho's lap. With a pained expression, he looked over at Jisung. The latter stretched provocatively and moved, which the other logically couldn't.

"Stop it."

"Nope, why would I?"

They whispered. Wide grins (actually, they always laughed, grinned, giggled when they were together, funny...) stretched across their faces.

"Jisung..."

"Huh?" The blond looked up from the wooden track he was stowing back in its box.

"We still need to talk about something... about little Jisung."

Jisung merely nodded and went back to his work. "About what?"

Although Minho was sitting more than uncomfortable, his voice was still warm and soft. As if he was trying to reassure Jisung. Though truthfully it was just so Miri wouldn't wake up.

"What are your boundaries? What am I not allowed to do, what don't you want me to do?" Jisung laid back down on the carpet and looked at the ceiling. "Dunno about that..."

Minho hummed, looking down at the girl in his arms for a moment. "Is it okay if I give you a kiss on the cheek?"

Jisung raised his head just so he could see Minho. "No."

The Man widened his eyes a bit until Jisung began to snort softly. "Min, that was sarcasm, of course." Then he wiggled his eyebrows. "You may even kiss me properly." Minho had to chuckle at the tone he used but left it uncommented. "Good... baby talk and stuff are okay too?" Jisung dropped his head back to the carpet but held up a thumbs up. "Yup."

"And how far am I allowed to touch you, I don't want to do anything to little Jisung that he doesn't want." Jisung was getting all warm again at the guidance care, the Man was really perfect. But Minho was justified in asking.

He had already read something about the differences between "normal" little space and ddgl on his own. "I don't think sexual acts are something... that..." He didn't know how to put it. He might disappoint Minho if he didn't wanted... that

Minho heaved a sigh of relief. "I'm glad, I don't like connecting the two things either."

And Jisung had apparently worried all over again. "You can hug and cuddle me all you want," Jisung said with a grin, which could even be heard in his voice. "Always." He added.

"Thanks." Came it back from Minho. Full of sincerity. Full of... gratitude and... some feeling Jisung couldn't quite interpret.

But it made him feel so comfortably warm, that whatever this was, he knew that not only his head, but all the rest of Jisung agreed with him.

Well, peace was not granted to the two men. Miri yawned loudly and rubbed her eyes. Round two of their hellish carousel began.
