Ch. 8

When they went into the cafeteria, they saw a bunch of people on the cafeteria. The seats were almost taken. Luckily for them, there were seat which is not yet taken. "Alright, since the seats are almost occupied, how about me and Ayaka can go grab some food. What food would you like to eat, brother?" Aether looks at his sister. Aether couldn't believe that there were a lot of people that is gathered is the same area. "The same as yours is okay." his sister nods, leaving Aether all by himself.

Aether had thought what would their ceremony look like. The principal mentioned that they will held a ceremony for the new students in the place but she didn't mentioned when. The blonde looked at his phone, checking if he has any notification. He is right, there is a notification.

The notification cane from his messages. It looks like it's... Kunikuzushi..!

Aether was surprised to receive a notification from him. He checks at the message that the man had given him. Aether frowns. It looks like Kuni had been summoned by his group. Aether wonders what kind of group it is. Maybe something.. bad. Since he saw Kuni getting beaten up by a group of men.

He responded with an understanding text. It really looks like that he's really busy.

But then, he felt that he was being tapped on his right shoulders. He checked who this was, to his surprise, it was Dainslief!

He jumped on the man's arm, many people were looking at them. Seeing that the cold-blooded Dainslief was getting hugged by.. a smaller figure. They prayed for this man's safety as Dainslief was known for having a bad temper.

To their surprise, Dainsleif hugged him back. They were shocked at this. He should've given a cold and disgusted gaze by now.

"You're back! I thought you're gonna be gone for longer. How was the situation with.. y'know."

Dainsleif gave him a relieved look. "It is good so do not worry. Although, we may need your parent's help in the future. They are the only one's who can stop this."

"What do you mean our parent's help?" a feminine voice came and interrupted their conversation.

"Lumine, this is not the place that is safe to talk about rather, we should be discussing this matter later. C'mon! Let's eat first."

Dainsleif looked at the blonde man. He noticed that he smiles more often than before. He actually remembered how energetic Aether is when they were younger. "I guess he hasn't changed in a bit." think to himself.

Aether noticed that the man was just dozing off. He called by his name. The tall figure excused himself as he were to go to the principal's office. Aether lets the man, of course. He actually think that the man was very tired due to the reasons of what was happening to Khaenri'ah. He worriedly looks at his food. When his sister noticed that Aether wasn't talking anymore, she patted his back. This makes Aether feel less anxious. Of course Lumine is fully aware of what was happening to Khaenri'ah. She might actually consider calling her parents to this situation.

Later on, as they walk out of the cafeteria, the twins hugged each other and said their goodbyes. After that, he decided to go to the bathroom to have his private moment there.

As he went in, he goes inside to take a leak. "The bathroom was empty. That's actually a good thing," he thinks to himself. The bathroom was quite cold. Then, when he was washing his hands, he heard another man coming inside to the bathroom. He was already drying his hands up. As the other man walked in, he saw that it was actually Kaeya!

The man walks towards him, "Oh hey, Kaeya! How are you doing?"

"Hmm, it's good, I guess. It's not bad at all." the man replied. "I was actually just gonna wash my hands since it's kinda sweaty from the sword."

"Woah- you know how to wield a sword? That's actually cool! Wanna train with me next time?" the blonde offered. Kaeya think that this is a good opportunity to get to know the man even more.

He then nods, giving the signs of an approval, the taller man then offered to go to the training grounds with him. The blonde actually think that this is a good idea. He has never went to the training grounds since he doesn't know the direction. Dainsleif did not lead him there at that time.

Well, Aether obviously knows how to wield all sorts of weapon. Both of him and Lumine were trained since the age of seven by their father. Both of them actually don't know why. Their family was far to normal to have those sorts of lesson.

He remembered the time when the first time he laid a hand on a sword, his father said; "Using a sword is only to protect what's right. Do not use it for exploitation." his Father was really serious when he said that. So he eventually followed it.

He then followed a taller man, leading to the training grounds, it was really huge. Kaeya had let him use one of the weapon. He then chose the sword, of course. "It's been a while since I touched a sword." he thinks to himself.

Kaeya smiled, he's very amused that Aether could hold a heavy sword. He was about to say something till the bell rang.

"Oh, I guess I should get going now. I would love to train with you next time. It's a bad timing today.." the blonde pouted.

He pats Aether's head, "It's alright, Sunshine. I will also have to go as well. Just let me know anything if you want something." the taller man walks away then waved.

Aether blushes to the nickname. Only the closest people had given him a nickname so he was surprised. He then walks away to the hallways. He ran as the fast as he can, really afraid of being late again.

He bumped into someone who was running as well. "Ow, that hurt." He looks at the person. "Oh, Kazuha..! Are you okay?" He gave Kazuha his hands, Kazuha then gladly accepted it. His hands are soft.. He gazed up on Aether. "I-i'm okay.."

Aether checked again then hugged him. This made Kazuha blush. Aether knew that he was blushing but he kept teasing the him. "Ae-Aether, what are you doing?"

"Can't you see that I'm hugging you? I'm glad that you're okay. Anyways, I'm quite late so I have to go to class!" Kazuha looks at him directly. So beautiful. "What's your class?"
"I'm having a class with Miss Lisa. So, I think it's potion class? I'm not sure." Kazuha lit's up, he knows that they have the same class. "Wanna go together? I'm on the same class as her." The blonde happily nods, this make Kazuha happy.

They walked in the class, Aether sighs on relief. Miss Lisa is late! So they had a sit together, waiting for their teacher to arrive.
