He's Mine

Ch. 1

Dawn hits the time, the chickens became noisy as well. This made Aether wide awake. The sound of the neighbor's chicken made him awake in annoyance. "Urgh, what time is it?" As he looks at the time, he noticed that it is incredibly early.

He wanted to sleep more, but unfortunately, he must prepare to move with his sister. Their things are already prepared, their mother had forced them to. But, he still has to check. His mother will be furious if he does not. As he walks downstairs, he smelt the aroma of the pancakes his mother had made for them. "I am quite shock that you're early awake. Good Morning, dear!" His mother said with a smile on her face. "Mom! The roosters were too noisy." Said in an irritating tone. "C'mon now, eat! I'll have to wake your sister up!"

When Aether had finished eating, he came to the bathroom to prepare himself.

*fast forward*

When Aether finally got out of the bathroom, he heard his sister's phone by accident. (probably a notification.) He picked it up thinking of giving it to his sister until he had the sudden urge to open his sister's Instagram.

Aether's POV:
"Good think I knew Lumi's password. Hmm, I wonder if she has someone right now. I often see her smile while looking at her phone. I really bet she has someone with her."

As he heard his sister shouting, he knew that she was searching for her phone.

"Lumi! Are you looking for your phone?" Aether shouts.

"Yeah! Have you seen it?" Lumi replied back.

Back in Aether's POV:
As he hurriedly walked downstairs, Aether gave her her phone and went upstairs. "I knew something is up with her. Not in a bad way tho, I hope she is contented and happy with that person. Oh wait, maybe it's just a friend? Impossible. A person wouldn't have that type of 'smile' on her face if it's just a friend." He thought seriously.

*another fast forward*

"Alright kids, it's finally time to depart. Be sure to be a good person, okay? Mommy is going to miss you too! Don't forget that your father will send you your monthly allowances. Be sure to let us know when the two of you have finally arrived at the academy." Their mother worriedly say meanwhile Lumine is scrolling through Instagram. "Mommm, please, we're not kids anymore!" Lumine said. "Lumine! Please don't be rude to mom. We love you mom! I'll call at our family group chat when I'm at our dormitory. Please don't worry about us!" Aether said with a confidential tone. "Love you, mom" Lumine said with a smile on her face. "Hurry up now! The line will be more longer if you don't go earlier. Love you too, kids. Don't forget that your father and I love you both. Sadly, he's not here today because an important meeting shows up." She sighs. "Oh yeah, do not forget that Dainsleif is going to be in that academy as well. Since the both of you are his childhood friends, I requested him to give you two a tour around. Luckily he said yes!" Lumine hearing her mother said that irritates her. "Alright! I haven't seen him in a while! I missed him so much!" Aether said.

Lumine's POV:
"Urgh, why does that man have to be with us?! I cannot let him near my brother. Seeing him have that predatory gaze on Aether gives me goosebumps! But since he's 'our' childhood friend, I could trust him more than enough. Well, maybe. Since he knows Aether well and is willing to protect him as well. I wish she could give me a tour instead." Lumine sighs.

*fast forward to the academy.*

"Woah! The building is big!" Aether says in an astonished voice. "Bro, we have to go to the principal's office first so we could get our dormitory." After they walked inside, Aether decided to contact Dainsleif, meanwhile Lumine casually listens to 505 by Arctic Monkeys.

At the message:
Aether: dain? u there? we're inside the school building right now near at the cafeteria i guess?
Dainsleif: alright. i see you two standing around. we're you perhaps waiting for my arrival?
Aether: yeah I'm with Lumi rn ('∀｀=)
Dainsleif: I'm right behind you.
