Chapter 10

Towns Carnival, It was the most festive time of the year for her town and for Alcoholics, Angelica's parents sold there home made chili winning the contest ever year.

She had just suffered ten minutes of akward silence with a mix of her fathers corny Dad jokes trying to lighten the mood but only made Angelica want to kill herself more.

She was eager to jump out the car snatching her AirPods out of her ears stuffing her phone in her back pocket. she slammed the van door closing it behind her, "Angelica, Wait!" Her mom called behind her but she ignored her seeing Rue and Jules and Rues like sister Gia.

She ran up them hugging Jules shoulders, "Hey Juju." She said smooching her cheek. Jules wrapped her arm around her pulling her into a side hug. "Hey Ang. I love your outfit." She grinned complementing her ripped jeans and her cropped olive green V cut shirt. "Thanks Babe."

"Ang." Rue smile leaning her head on her shoulder, She ruffled her little sisters brown curly hair. "Hey Gg." She smiled. The girl cracked a grin texting in her phone. "Hey Ang." The walked through the gates a huge banner reading Towns carnival at the top with flashing Light's.

They stoped walking while Rue talked to her sister Gia. "We'll meet back at 11. Okay." Gia nodded confirming. "Bye." She waved. 

"So you talk to fezco yet?" Jules brought up making Angelica roll her eyes. "I've talking to him just not in that way."

Jules dropped her head dramatically. "What are you waiting  for?" she groaned kicking the dirty beneath her shoes.  Rue looked at her too looking for an answer.

She shrugged. "Guess it never came up."

Rue snorted. "When did it not come up, I mean you had that moment with Fez last night." Rue said making Angelica hit her forehead. "Rue i told you that in confidence!"

Jules eyes wiggled as the three girls walked between a row of Rides, Screams and shouts coming from both sides. "There was a moment?"

She scoffed playfully. "It wasn't a moment."

"You almost kissed!"

She glared at Rue. "Shut the fuck up!"  Rue held up her hands in surrender. "Sorry."

Jules slapped a hand to her heart. "Why didn't you tell me." Angelica looked down feeling guilty. "Not because I didn't want to or Anything- it's just when I talk to you your so optimistic, Which is good! But things are always too good to be true, I mean the universe fucking hates me." She explained. "I just don't wanna get my hopes up, Ya know." She chuckled.

Jules nodded throwing her arm around her shoulder. "I'm only optimistic because Rues so depressing." She teased making Rue nudge the back of her head playfully Angelica watched the two interact she noticed the way Rue looked at her but Jules was so wrapped up in her own mind to see it but she could see right through rue, The long stairs, Overly laughing at her jokes and her getting awkward when she brings up her Tyler.

Rue had feeling for the girl, Angelica didn't blame her Jules was hot but she wondered how that would effect their relationship.

Angelica eyes looked up to the huge ride in front of her  'The blue lagoon.' It was this famous ride they people would talk about months before the fall time. it was this big blue ride that looped around 3 times spinning you up and down before slowly going up tracks falling down into a water machine that spurred water at you as you went down.

Her eyes widened pointing at it like a little kid who just saw a unicorn. "That one! Let's do that one!" She begged her friends. They locked eyes with each other then glancing back at their overly excited friend in front of them.
