Chapter 13

It had been a a week since the carnival, 3 days since Fezco and Angelia confessed there liking for each other, she was sitting in class listening to the teacher go on and on about the Play of Romeo and Juliet.

"Class can you tell me what Romeo was referring too when he said this?" The teacher asked. She obviously wasn't paying attention daydreaming about going home and sleeping and of course the one times she's not listening the teacher called on her. "Angelica. The answer?"

She looked up dazed, "huh?"

The intercom beeped, Saved by the bell. "Angelica Jacobs you are needed in the front office, I repeat Angelica Jacobs please come to the office."

"Oooooh!" The class erupted, she immediately rolled her eyes pushing her phone into her pocket. "Fuck off." She mumbled patting down her cheer skirt standing up.

"Class settle down." Her teacher spoke up, "Angelica you may go." She dismissed. She nodded flinging her bag over her shoulder using both hands to push the class room door open. She wouldn't know what this was about as she walked down the hallway she thought deeply on what it could be but couldn't come up with any possible suggestion. She turned the corner of the narrowed hall seeing the principal standing at the other both her parents, Now she was anxious. She carried herself faster her eyebrows were furrowed the whole time seeing the confusion and sadness written on both of her parents faces. she took notice in the two rooms that were in that hallway across from each other Nate and Maddy in each one Maddy was sobbing into her mothers shoulder while Nate looked scared shitless she started to piece the puzzle together, this had too have something too do with the carnival last weekend.

She hadn't told anybody about it expect fez and Jules and Rue. she's never seen her brother that angry before I mean she knew he had a hot temper but never knew he was capable of hurting the girl he apparently loved the most and if she was being honest it scared her too. She couldn't get the look out of  his eyes off of her mind the way he looked so emotionless as he slammed her against the Rv ignoring her pleas to stop she hadn't been home since staying at Fez's she didn't plan on coming home either.

Once she got into close distance she spoke up, "What's going on?" She asked.

"We should talk in here." Her principle told her. She couldn't read her mothers face which she usually could do but when she starred at them nothing stared back almost as if there eyes were empty but her father he looked like he could puke on any second. She hesitantly sat in the brown chair across Principal Hayes desk, "Can someone please tell me what's going on." She sighed dropping her back beside her she let her eyes roamed the room seeing two police officers beside the teacher there was definitely something wrong.

"We need to discuss your relationship to Madeline Perez." Her leg started to bounce up and down keeping eye contact. "What about it."

"Who is she to you?" He questioned.

".. a friend." 

"And Nate." She scoffed playfully. "What's going on.." she said eyeing her parents still so confused. "Nate's my brother." She answered in a obvious tone

"Did you attend the carnival on Friday?"

She felt her heart jolt a bit. "Yes." She answered honestly."during the carnival did you or did you not seeing Nate pin Maddy against a Rv and strangle Perez."

Fuck me

Greyson prayed she wouldn't say the wrong thing.

"No..?" She said more of a question trying to stall. "Was that a No?" She felt her phone buzz she glanced at it seeing a message from Maddy.
