Chapter 24

Lucas' POV:

I've been waiting in the waiting room for over 2 days, I visited Sally once and she looked so bad that I didn't want to visit her again until she was better, literally, she had; tubes connected to her and bandages on her head, around her body, her arms. I fuckin knew it wasn't good to put her to war! It was my fault!

After the flashbacks of how Sally was just laying on the ground, crying in pain and looking so dead pale, I cried. I started crying again...

"Prince." A nurse called and I looked up to meet her eyes.

"Yes?" I managed to choke out through my sobs.

"I think it's best if you leave, she'll be better tomorrow." She offered and I shook my head with pleading eyes.

"I will not leave until Sally gets better." I replied and covered my face in my arms again.

"Very well. I placed a cup of water on the coffee table beside you." The nurse walked away and I sniffled.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket and I struggled to get it out. Finally I did and noticed that I got a text...

(M - mother, L - Lucas)

M: Is Sally alright?

L: Not that I know of, I visited her yesterday and she looked horrible!

M: Young man! Don't call your princess Ugly!

L: No! I mean! She looked horrible as in, well she has tubes connected to her and bandages all over her body!

M: Oh...

M: Well, your father told me to tell you that, he managed to capture the leader of The Red Vevlet army... when you are finished at the hospital, you can come over to the dungeon, we can sort things out and give the leader a lesson.

WHAT?!

L: How did Father manage to do that?!

M: ...

L: Mother?

M: The leader is your uncle

I stared at her last text and red over it about a million times. UNCLE?! I put my phone back in the pocket and felt anger in me. SALLY IS IN THE SITUATION BECAUSE OF MY UNCLE!

"AHHHHHHHHHH! LUCAS! HEEEEEEEELP!" Sally cried and screamed from her room. WTF ARE THE DOCTORS DOING TO HER?! I ran to her room and busted the door down, literally. I saw Sally struggling, trying to get the tubes out of her.

"Sally! Shhh! Stop, please! You're injured!" I walked over to her and caressed her cheek, she calmed down and looked up at me with sad eyes.

"Lucas... I can't.. I.." She closed her eyes and her head fell limp to the side.

"Sally?"

"SALLY?! NO!" I shook her and cried again. I ran out the door and called for help.

"HELP!"

"Prince! What's wrong?!"

"SALLY! SHE WAS AWAKE AND NOW SHE JUST CLOSED HER EYES! SHE ISN'T RESPONDING ANYMORE! HER LAST WORDS WERE: Lucas.. I can't... I...!" I paused and fell on my knees.

"NURSE LYDIA, I need you to get all the tools set up, Julia, you go put your mask and gloves on. Raymond, go get the machine set up." A doctor walked off and into Sally's room. HOW CAN HE BE SO CALM ABOUT THIS?

I got up and sat back down in the same chair in the waiting room as I did earlier. I just stared at the ground, blocking all the noise around me, everything to me looked slow motion. I looked up and stared at the ceiling. What is happening? Suddenly, I fell onto my side; into another seat and everything went pitch black.

Sally's POV:

Cold, plain, empty, that's how I feel right now. Everything around me is all white, I looked down and noticed that i'm dressed in all white too.

"Sally?" Someone called out and I looked behind me, I couldn't believe who I saw.

"Mom?!" I cried out and she came running up to me, we embraced into a warm hug.

(A/N: This mom is Sally's real mom, before she got adopted by Miranda. I'll tell you guys the story of Sally's real mom soon.)

"Oh my darling! I thought I would never see you again!" She cried.

"Mom, where am I?" I asked.

"Heaven." She replied and my eyes widen.

"What?! No! I can't! Lucas..." I fell on my knees and let a tear escape.

"I've been watching you, Lucas and you make a wonderful two." Mom said and I smiled sadly.

"I'm going to miss him..." I closed my eyes and frowned.

"You can always go back." She said and lifted me up onto my feet.

"I can?" She nodded.

"You still have life in you. You can only go back once, so be careful." She smiled.

"I don't want to leave you." I said and frowned.

"I'll always be there for you. I'm always here." She replied.

"Now, close your eyes, feel your heart, make it beat. You'll go back."

I did as mom said and felt my heart, it was cold and shattered, I mended my cold heart and it started beating again, I felt a cold gush of air hit my face and heard loud talking around me.

I fluttered my eyes open and looked around me, doctors and nurses turned their gazes to me and smiled.

"You're alright?" A doctor asked and I nodded.

"I see you turned." I froze, confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked with a scratchy tone in my voice. Ouch.

"Your eyes, they're red."

"HUH?" I gasped.

"May I borrow a mirror?" I asked and a nurse handed me a hand-hold one. I looked at my reflection and my eyes widened.

"Get Lucas here, please." I said and they did as they were told.

Lucas walked in a minute later and stared at me with a smile. He sat down beside me, he couldn't see my face because I covered it.

"What's wrong? BY THE WAY, I was so worried about you! You just, died like that! Never do that again!" He said and hugged me tightly.

"Lucas... I changed." I whispered.

"Yeah, your perso-- WAIT WHAT?" He asked. I uncovered my face and he stared into my eyes.

"I'm a..." I gulped.

"Vampire."

Lucas' eyes widened...

LOL, I made her transformation painless and boring. I didn't have any ideas on how to change her. But, here's the plot:

So how she got hit in the war was that, well Lucas thought a sword went through her, well actually, a wolf scratched her deep, but this wolf was half vampire. Also, his nails were filled with vampire blood, so the blood got into her system and spreaded, SO, the vampire blood went through her veins and into her heart, around her body. SO, that's how she turned.
