Sally's POV:

Today is the day I go back to school, oh boy, can't wait for the drama.

Atleast i'm going with my bff Trisha and my prince Lucas! I'm glad I won't be alone.

I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs, Lucas and Trisha were already at the door and ready to go. I'm such a slow poke...

"Same old Sally, always late." Trisha giggled and Lucas smiled.

"C'mon babe, we'll be late." Lucas winked and I blushed.

We got into Lucas' limo, the one we were in when we got here. I sat beside Lucas while Trisha sat across from us. I leaned my head on Lucas' shoulder and smiled when Trisha winked.

"So...excited going back to school?" Trisha asked and I laughed.

"Excited? I'm scared... nervous..." I gripped onto Lucas' shoulder and he caught on quickly and wrapped his arms around me.

"It's alright... I fixed everything.." He looked down at me and winked and I blushed.

Lucas has been winking more than ever, quite weird. We finally got to school, Trisha got out first then Lucas, he helped me out and smiled.

"Ready, sista?!" Trisha asked and linked her arms with mine, pulling me away from Lucas and into the school.

"Y-yeah..." Lucas caught up and walked by my side.

"what classes do I have?" I asked with shock.

"Same ones." Trisha replied.

"Oh...okay good." I sighed out in relief.

"Lucas what classes do you have?" Trisha asked.

"Hmm...apparently, I have all classes with Sally here." He repliedd with a smile.

"Cool, i'll catcha later!" Trisha waved goodbye and we both waved back.

The school bell rang. Lucas and I ran to our first class.

"Wait!" Lucas stopped me and took my hands in his.

"Lucas?" I was about to ask but he cut me off.

"Just in case." He smiled and I nodded.

We walked into the classroom and everyone looked up to see us at the door. I caught Rekela's eyes staring at us and her gaping. I mentally smirked and I could tell Lucas was smirking too. Lucas tugged on my arm and lead me to our seats, we sat down and took out our books. 2 minutes later Rekela came walking up to us.

"Hi, you must be new. Nice to meet you." She smiled ever so brightly and Lucas just stared at her.

"Hmm...Sally." She fake smiled and I fake smiled back.

"My name is Rekela, and you are?" she stuck out her hand for Lucas to shake but, he refused to.

"Lucas." He replied coldly with a bit of a growl in his voice. Rekela took her hand back.

"Lucas, nice name. Me and my friends are hanging out at lunch later on. Do you maybe want to join us?" She winked. Seriously, I kind of feel invisible right here, right now.

"it's okay babe, don't feel invisible..." Lucas said into my mind. I forgot...vampires can mind chat with their mates...

"No thanks, I rather have lunch with Sally and her friend." He smiled and Rekela gave me a harsh death glare.

"Okay, maybe next time." She smiled a disappointed smile and went back to her seat.

Lucas turned his head to look at me but, I looked away and faced the window. He nudged my arm which got me to face him again. He gave me a sad smile, I nodded and hugged him. I whispered a thank you and he nodded and whispered back an I love you.

Lucas' POV:

Class flew by quite fast and it was time for break, I believe the break is for at least 10 minutes. Sally and I walked out of class and met Trisha in the hallways.

"Sally!" Trisha hugged Sally and I smiled.

"Lucas...!" This...Rekela girl walked up to me. I am getting sick and tired of her already...

"I think we got off on the wrong start. Look, I like you, and you like me. Wanna hang out with us?" What the hell is she talking about? I don't like her and Sally knows that. I could feel Sally's intense stare at Rekela through me.

"I'm sorry. First, I don't like you. Second, I don't care if you like me.." Everyone and I mean EVERYONE crowded around us. I continued...

"Third, leave me alone! I don't want to hang out with a bitch like you. I love Sally and only her. Got that?" I glared at Rekela, she nodded and walked away.

"oooh BUUUURN!" Trisha shouted and I smiled, Sally had her face covered.

Oh..nooo! It hurts me to know that Sally is hurt and crying. I took her hands away from her face and found her laughing.

"OH MY GOD!" She kept laughing and I was a bit confused.

"No one has ever rejected Rekela like that!" Trisha began laughing and I laughed as well.

"Well, she is a bitch." I said and they both nodded. Everyone got back to what thet were doing and I was glad.

~ 2 hours later ~ (Lunch time) ~ (Speeding things up a bit)

Lunch time, my favorite time of the day. Trisha, Sally, and I, sat outside under a tree for lunch.

"Pasta! My favorite! What do you have Sally?" Trisha ased her.

"Salad." She replied with a smile.

"Lucas?" Trisha asked me.

"Wow...you guys have like, healthy stuff to eat... I have a burger." I replied pulling out my burger.

Sally giggled and I smiled, her giggles always make my day. Outside was awesome.

Trisha gave Sally some of her pasta and Sally gave Trisha some of her salad.

So far, I am liking school, it's full of drama yes, but most of that came from Rekela.

Maybe Sally and I should stay here for maybe a month, just so she could stay close with her mother and Trisha. I will do anything for Sally, to make her happy.

Yeah, I will change the date and let us stay here for another month.
