I sit up in bed absolutely shocked, did he just say I was in a coma for five years. "You're not serious right." I mumble as I turn to look at him. "That's not something you should joke about."
"I'm not joking, I would never joke about your well-being." Before I could respond, the doctor walks in.
"Good Morning Victoria, it's really good to see you awake." She pulls out her clipboard and starts to write things down. "How are you feeling?"
"Great, considering that I just woke up from a coma." Joseph rubs my back and I sigh in frustration, I can't believe that I missed half of my life....wait a minute. "Baby."
"Yes love?" Joseph responds but I shake my head no.
"No, while I was sleep...I kept hearing the word baby." The doctor looks at me sympathetically and when I look at Joesph he was in near tears. "What is it?"
Before either of them could answer, a nurse walks in. "Friends and family would like to know when can they come in?"
"Um, I would like to run some test and then after it will determine on weather she's ready for a large amount of people." The nurse nods and Joseph gets out the bed and have a seat next to me. "Now, Victoria this might take a while. I'm going to ask you multiple questions just so I could make sure you don't have any memory lost."
"Can Joseph stay?" She smiles and nods and I hold his hands as she ask away.
I don't know why, or how I'm even alive after that fall, but it has to be some type of miracle. The coma just felt like a long nap and I could sorta hear people talking throughout...but there's only one word that my mind can't drift away from and it's the word baby. Why can't this word leave my head? Did one of my friends have a baby or something? I really need to know.

After hours of questions and running the test. The doctor left the room but she came back. Joseph and I have been sitting in silence and it's really weird. "Okay, Ms. Tonkin, these results are coming by perfectly fine. I'm actually quite surprised, especially after the fall you had."
"What does that mean?" Joseph ask as he hold on to my hand.
"I suggest that she stays here for a few more days so we could monitor her mental state, and after that if everything is fine she's free to go."
"Can my friends and family come in now?"
"Of course, I'll call them in for you." I thank her as she leaves the room and Joseph smiles at me as I lay back.
"What are you staring at?" I ask and he kisses my hand.
"You have no idea, how happy I am. I sat in this spot, for 5 years. I never wanted to leave your side. Victoria, what happened to you is my fault..."
"Don't, please don't. Joseph, I wouldn't be here, if I would have just stayed home. I never should've went out with Jensen that night and I fucked up once I kissed him back. I'm the reason that I was sent into a 5 year coma, I'm the one to blame. So please, don't ever in your life say that it was your fault." Before he could say anything, Phoebe runs into the room along with the others. "Phoebs." I started to tear up and she rushes over to me and hugs me tight.
Phoebe cries on my shoulder as she keeps me in her embrace. "I missed you so much." She mumble and I smile through my tears. She pulls away and place her hands on my cheeks. "You have no idea, how my life been without my twin."
"I can't believe it's been five years."
Daniel smiles as he comes to sit on my bed. "You're still the ugly twin." I smile at throw my fruit cup at him. "And still mean."
"I missed you too asshole." As I lay here and communicate with my friends and my family, I've missed them so much. Even though I don't remember much about what happened after the whole accident, I'm happy to be awake.
