~Love~
Those two girls held hands for awhile. It made me feel left out, but we had just met. Their love has been strengthened and mended for many years, I can see the weaving marks spread across their faces. Smiles.
Complete strangers? Letting my stay with them? What would mother say to me? First she would scorn me for leaving, but this. This would result in my permanent lock away. I would live in the attic with Donny attached at my hip.
Hopefully these strangers won't betray me, or abuse me. I have only been full love for a year, so reading them is hard. So far, I see kindness in their hearts. My heart tells me to trust them. Her name is Sophia, and our conversations consist of do's and don't's. All Love devotees' hearts speak to them.
"Here is our stop..." One of the girls hesitates before continuing. "Austin?" She must have over heard my name when Donny was here. Why did they have to hear that?
I slowly nod, almost forcefully. As if to say, "Yep, you can call me that".
"That is a unique name for a girl." The same girl states. "I'm Juliana, but most people refer to me as Ju." Juliana answers my nod before hopping off the transport.
Juliana sounds soothing. It sounds like the name of a Love devotee. Could her parents have been from the City Of Love?
"Good luck today!" The other girl smiles. "I'm Ember."
...And I'm mid air. At first I thought the leap would be easy, but I was too wrong for my own good. If only I hadn't had been engaged in a conversation and found the time to alert the transport that my stop was coming. Too late for that. Too late for me.
"Austin!" Hear Ember scream as I crash into some barrels in front of of the cute little coffeehouse.
